“The perfect two”

This story is about a boy called Scott that was a normal guy, and as a normal guy, loved a pretty girl. For Scott, she was not just a simple girl like the others that Scott used to know, this one was special. For Scott she was his half part that was missing. And believe me, Scott was determined that she was the one, and for her he would do anything, even change himself if that was necessarily.

Shia was the girl, Scott’s half part, the one that Scott called “perfect “. Shia was a complicated girl, a delicate princess that used to spin Scott’s head around.She was always standing and sitting alone at school, I don’t know why, and one day Scott decided to take the first step and talk to her. In the beginning, Scott was a little bit shy as normal, but as time went by he felt comfortable and Shia too.

Scott wasn’t a nice pretty guy, and sometimes he was a little bit stupid, but he had a good heart. At that moment, Shia answered a phone call and Scott asked Shia who it was, and she answered that it was a friend.

Scott noticed that the guy that was on the other side of the phone, was more than a friend. One day later Scott already knew the guy that Shia was talking to. Was it Shia’s boyfriend: a tall guy, in shape, nice hair, bla, bla, bla?

Shia liked this type of boys, pretty, in shape, but most important of all, boys that were confident in themselves. Those who have high morals, she didn’t want to be associated with; a boy who doesn’t respect himself or has no class. She wants a boy that can have his own opinion and definitely know what he’s talking about. But this last part, Scott didn’t much know about.

Like Scott was thinking, Shia loved boys with a perfect body, nice hair and that kind of thing, so he created a machine, yes, a machine that could make him irresistible.

It took over one month to build the machine, and when it was ready, he stepped over into the machine and pushed the lever and it starts the transformation. It took 1 hour until Scott was like he planned, tall, strong, in shape, long blond hair, blue green eyes, tanned skin…, he was like “ the boy of any girl’s the dreams”.

In the next morning, when he went to school, he saw Shia and went there to do a little bit of “show off”. In every corner that he passed, all girls keep looking at him for being so pretty, so perfect! When he got near

to Shia he saw that she was looking at him like all the other girls were, but she didn’t look happy. Scott asked her if she had noticed the changes in his outside person, and Shia said yes, and turned her face. He kept insisting if she liked it, but she didn’t give him an answer.After another try from Scott, Shia answered angrily: -“Why did you do that? And how did you become like that? And why? Did you think that you would be more of a man by transforming yourself like that?”Then Scott said that he did that for her, he admitted that he loved her more than anything, and he had spoken about the other guy that she was talking to on the phone, etc.

After hearing so much stupid stuff Shia, she went away.Scott was very angry and he went home, destroyed the machine and by destroying the machine, that pretty guy that he was gone forever. Now he looked like old Scott. The true Scott.

The next morning at school, he sees Shia sitting at the same place like always, alone. Scott took a deep breath, and went near her, sat down, and told her how sorry he was by being so stupid thinking that the other boy that Shia was talking to, was her boyfriend. He also said that he didn’t want to make her sad, he only wanted to make her fall in love with him.

After Scott finished talking, Shia grabbed him and gave him a huge wonderful kiss, and then whispered to his ear while a tear ran down her face:

“- I always loved you since the beginning, but you didn’t notice.”Scott said that he didn’t notice at all, and he also said sorry for all the things that he had done to her, for being a stupid boy, for being so sloppy… but Shia interrupted grabbing him and whispering again:“- Scott, you’re perfect to me.” – and both ended up getting carried away by a single lovely kiss.

Online Love

A boy was always using technology and did not care what happened around him. He was

always alone, listening to music or even connected to the computer, for his life was the internet,

school and home, with no friends.

The boy had Facebook and one day starts talking online to a girl; she was almost next door

but he did not know because they were both very shy and always with a device that distracted

them. They started talking about their shyness and were developing the conversation to the point

of matching the time to connect on the chat and talk.

As time went by, the boy asked the girl to have a drink, a juice or even have lunch together.

The girl agreed to have a juice, but she was afraid because she knew that when he arrived, the

boy would not talk. When they were online it was easier but it would turn out to be personal.

The boy asks for money anxiously to his mother to take the girl out. Before getting to the

bar he was already shaking because he would have to talk to the girl and he knew it would be very

complicated.

The boy was already sitting at the bar waiting for the girl when the girl arrives; he starts

shaking. The two remained some time looking at each other without saying a word. Then the boy

said something and they began talking. From that day on their friendship got stronger. After 6

months the boy decided to ask the girl for a date, she accepted.

The two dated for 10 years, one day the boy asked her to marry him. She was uncertain,

however decided to accept. Preparations lasted 3 months and at the end of the three months they

finally got married. One year later they had two children, they were twins. He always remembered

her and she him, especially on special occasions. Sometime later the couple was giving a lecture

about online dating, where they told their story. But he also spoke of the risks involved.

Despite being parents the couple used technology to do almost everything and the whole

house had technology. Both had jobs related to technology. In short, the couple was living happily,

of course they had arguments but they were happy nonetheless.

Technology can be harmful but sometimes it can also be beneficial and this is a love affair

that happened primarily online.

Beatrice and David

On Tumblr, Beatrice had an admirer. She went every day to check the blog to read her admirer’s poems.

One day she had courage and sent him a friend request on Facebook, sending him a little message.

After a few days, Beatrice went to check on Facebook if he had accepted her friend request, but he didn’t, and she was getting nervous. That day in the afternoon, David added her, saying he was sorry for not accepting her earlier, because he was out of the country.

Through that day, Beatrice and David didn’t stop sending messages to each other, letting Beatrice even more in love with David’s poems.

One day, they decided to meet in Times Square, Beatrice was late, but she didn’t know that David was also late, running to the meeting place.

Suddenly he bumped on her, but they didn’t realize it. After a while, David looked back and he saw that girl picking up the bag that

was on the floor, so he went to help her. When he looked at her and finally realized that, that girl was Beatrice, he

started laughing and he said “Sorry did I hurt you, Beatrice?”, Beatrice just looked at him with an amazed face and just asked ” How do you know my name?”, David said “Are you not recognizing me? Is me, David, that guy who writes you poems and that you know from Tumblr and Facebook!”

Beatrice started laughing and then she gave him a hug. They started walking in Times Square and they went to Central Park, they decided to have launch, in a Portuguese Restaurant.

After lunch, they went for a walk and they saw a Canon Shop. Beatrice wanted to buy a Canon, for a long time. While she was seeing the Canons, David was acting weird. When she finally found the camera, David offered her the money to pay, but she didn’t like when he said that.

In the end, David paid, they walked all day in New York, and David pretended that he was a photographer.

On the boat, to visit the Statue of Liberty, Beatrice, accidentally bumped against someone else. This person started arguing with her, but she didn’t understand what this person was saying, so David started to talk with that person and said sorry for Beatrice.

Impressed, she asked what language he was talking and he explained that this person was Russian. She asked him if he knew other languages and he said that he spoke Portuguese, Spanish, German and Japanese. He said that he could teach her if she wanted”.

In the end of the afternoon, they went to the hotel were David was staying.

While he was transferring the photos to the computer, Beatrice was looking at his stuff, when she found a photo of a girl, she asked David who she was but didn’t let him explain, leaving the room running to the lift.

David went after her and explained that girl was his sister that died in an accident between Spain and France.

In the end, Beatrice hugged him, saying sorry. When she hugged him a kiss showed up, they come back to the room and got involved.

David was worried with her age difference so he asked her how old she was, she answered eighteen and he, embraced her, saying I’m twenty eight. He started crying, hugged her saying that despite the age difference she was the first women who made him feel different.

After the entire morning in the hotel, they went again for a walk in New York, he asked her what her favourite flower was she said red roses. As they passed by a florist, he asked how many red roses they had.

They said one hundred and twenty; David said that he wanted a bouquet with the entire roses. David offered her the bouquet.

Beatrice started crying, but David was still worried because he didn’t reveal to her his biggest secret yet.

He took her to Central Park and in front of a lake and said he was bisexual. Beatrice wasn’t against his decision, but she felt insecure for knowing that he

could like her today but tomorrow he could start liking a boy. Beatrice accepted him because if one day he stopped having feelings for her,

she would remember the wonderful moments that she had with him in New York. David never thought that she would accept him.

Before they came back home they made a promise of love. The day Beatrice and David woke up separated in England, she was in Henley-on-Thames and he was in Calne.

She went to Facebook straight away, so she let the message on the e-mail.After a week talking, they decided to have a serious relationship and David went

to Henley to visit her family. Beatrice’s parents accepted him because they recognized that David was a kind

person, licensed in journalism and he worked in Radio Heart.On the next weekend, Beatrice met David’s parents; his family different from

her’s. This family was sophisticated, didn’t do barbecues and had good jobs. David’s father was a otolaryngologist and his mother was an obstetrician.

Beatrice got scared, because they were “different”, they were nice to her.

After severed months, their parents met each other in Beatrice’s house. David’s parents liked the place where she lived and the barbecue that her father

had done.After five years, Beatrice and David decided to get married because she was

already licensed and David had thirty three years old.Beatrice worked on BBC1, she was pregnant with twins, and their names where

Jessie and Emily. David was still working on Radio Heart.After ten years, the couple with twins went to live in New York, during three

TECHNOLOGY AND LOVE

Once upon a time there was a girl whose name was Katie. She was living in London and she loved

technology a lot so every day she went to the Apple Store in Convent Garden to try the I-phones, tablets,

computers…

One day she went there and she was trying the tablet when some boy arrived there and he was

waiting for her to try it. Katie was so excited she didn’t even realize someone was there waiting right next

to her and she took too long… The boy, whose name was William, started to get pissed off. He really got

mad so he was like “Can I use it too? You’re taking so long. I’m sick of waiting!” As she hadn’t seen him she

got pissed as well. She answered with the worst answer ever “What do you want? Can’t you see I’m trying

this?”He didn’t understand why she was so pissed off when he was the one who was waiting. So at some

point, he said to her “Oh god! Really?” I don’t have time for this. You really need to learn how to talk to

people! Goodbye Mrs. Rude!” Katie didn’t like his attitude but she didn’t know him so she didn’t care.

Both went home but they started thinking of each other. They didn’t understand why, maybe it was

because both were rude and that, obviously, got their attention.

One week left and William and Katie went to the Apple Store again. This time William was using the

Iphone five and he needed some help so she asked some girl that was right next to him. The problem was

he didn’t look at the person, he only realized who it was after he asked… And the girl was Katie! “Oh…” was

his reaction, she looked at him and she was like “What do you need?” he was confused because she didn’t

remember who the boy was. So he asked “Don’t you remember?” she answered “Sorry, I know that talk.

Oh, do I know you? And don’t you remember me? That one is old my friend. Try another girl”. William got

even more confused than he was so he said “I’m sorry but I’m not trying to convince you or conquer you! I

just remembered your face because of the other day here in the store!” She was embarrassed but she

didn’t remember him so she left.

Katie went home and when she was watching television something came up one her mind. She

remembered him! She thought “Oh my god!” What’s going on with me? He was so rude to me and I totally

didn’t remember him”. So she went to the store to see him but she didn’t find him… She went home again

and she couldn’t stop thinking about him and he couldn’t as well. They were thinking a lot about each

other so at some point they went there every day single day.

One day they finally found each other so they started talking and they really got interested in each

other. They realized they had so much in common, so they thought of meeting again and get to know more

about each other.

It was Sunday at afternoon, it was a beautiful sunny day (what was weird because the weather in

London isn’t that good and it barely happens), they met at the pub and they talked for hours and hours…

They changed numbers and they talked every day. Katie and William were really falling in love so Katie

asked William to date her (yes, girls can ask boys to date them so she did it) and he accepted with no

doubts. They were so cute together and so in love (beautiful)!

After 10 months William really started thinking of asking her to marry him so he planned

everything…

One day William told her to meet him at the Apple Store because it was there that the whole love

thing started. So she went there and she waited a lot. William showed up there dressing like a phone

because he knew Katie loved all types of technology. He wasn’t the one! A lot of people showed up there

dressing like him, they sang and danced for her and at the end he asked her “will you marry me?”, she was

so emotional, the whole thing was so beautiful and of course she answered “You can be sure I will!”. He

hugged her and they kissed, so in love they were.

Months later they got married and they went for a trip for a long time and they enjoyed every

beauty in the world and off course… technology!
