a boolprop monster mash challenge: chapter 3
TRANSCRIPT
Calliope has been a big help so far, Frieda has told me that she’s pregnant and I hope that Calliope will continue to be a big help. After all I did give her a Robo Nanny chip just for such an occasion. But she has been asking me for something else too, someone like herself so she doesn’t have to be alone in the world, and I think I can provide it for
her since she’s done so much for me.
Vincent: Why did you stop writing my love? Did the computer break again?
Frieda: No, I think it’s something else…
Vincent: Oh? OH!! We must go quickly to the hospital then!
Vincent: Our little girls are so adorable! But alas, I am troubled that neither of them inherited your occult status.
Frieda: Well we can always have more, once I’ve had a chance to recover.
Vincent: I know how important it is to give you some time to recover, so I won’t push right away. Sorra and Phantasma are enough to handle for the moment.
Frieda: You’re sweet, but I’m already dead so it’s not like I can get anymore dead-er
right? We can try again if you want to.
Vincent: Are you sure, really there is no immediate rush.
Frieda: I’m sure; the girls will be growing up so fast and I think I may miss them when they’re small like this.
Vincent: As you wish my love, my next day off is tomorrow. We can try then.
Vincent: I think we have succeeded, did you hear it?
Frieda: I did. It’s a wonderful sound isn’t it?
Vincent: It is. Nothing is more precious in the world to hear than that.
Vincent: I haven’t forgotten about Calliope’s request, I set to work immediately on my next day off and I think that this time, my Plumbot will be even more
advanced than Calliope. I am hoping that this one will be a level 10, it is important to make the best quality Plumbot I can for that legacy statue.
Vincent: Damn, not quite level 10. This one managed to reach level 8 though so I am getting closer.
“This unit has detected a broken tool; may this unit repair it?”
Vincent: I will tend to it, now, let me program your trait chips.
“Will this unit receive a designation Master?”
Vincent: Oh right, your designation is Jules Verne. And for the time being, you will record everything you experience in this house in your memory banks.
Jules Verne: Understood. This one’s designation is now Jules Verne.
Vincent: State your trait chip commands.
Jules Verne: This one is equipped with a Handy Bot, Efficient Cleaner, Robo Nanny, Friendly Functions, Sense of Humour and a Sentience trait chip.
Calliope: This one’s designation is Calliope. This one is your predecessor.
Jules Verne: This one’s designation is Jules Verne. This one is to record the family history.
Calliope: This one was given the sprite known as Emmanuel for caring.
Jules Verne: This one was given the sprite known as Ezra for caring as well.
Calliope: Master have given these ones a present.
Emmanuel: So you’re my new care giver? It’s nice to have another machine to talk to. The Master is only human, but he is a good human, he rescued us.
Calliope: This one’s primary function is to care for the Master’s young. The one known as Phantasma is this one’s first priority.
Phantasma Pryce
Loves the Outdoors Virtuoso
Faves include, Classical music, Cheesesteak and the colour Spice Brown
Jules Verne: This one’s primary function is to record the family history, but this one also is programmed to care for the Master’s young.
Sorra Pryce Perceptive
Loves the Heat Faves include, Latin music, Spaghetti, and the colour Red.
Calliope: This one has also learned that the Master’s mate also wishes to care for the young, this one is programmed to help out but not monopolize the training of
Master’s young.
Jules Verne: This one will record that as part of the family history. Master’s future offspring will appreciate this one’s detailed recordings of Master’s wishes.
Calliope: This one thinks that Phantasma resembles her mother quite a bit.
Jules Verne: This one would agree; although this one is not sure of what Master’s mate looked like before she expired.
Calliope: This one would conclude from studying Sorra, that the Master’s mate had a multi-coloured organic covering when she was functioning and that Master’s mate had blue hair
follicles.
Jules Verne: This one would concur; it is likely since Master does not have such biological features. This one will make a record of the genetic anomalies in Master’s young.
Calliope: This one was present when Master’s mate went into violent contractions with Master’s next offspring, this one was not sure how to respond to such
stimuli and this one may have been functioning improperly.
Jules Verne: What did one’s self diagnostic tell one?
Calliope: This one’s diagnostic was inconclusive. But this one can report that Master once again had twins and that one of them was an undead lifeform like Master’s mate; he has
declared that the female infant unit known as Carmen was going to be his heir. The infant unit’s male twin Jesse was a human like Master.
Jules Verne: This one has recorded and saved this encounter.
