Page 2: A day in the life of Brad the bread loaf

What value can one loaf of bread bring to the Crivello family and their friends?

Page 3: A day in the life of Brad the bread loaf

My origins are humble but I’m from

noble and ancient descent. My ancestors sat at King’s tables and a Jewish old relative was God’s body.

Everywhere you go, you’ll find some of my relatives in many different breeds and families, shapes and sizes, colors and textures, sweet and sour…

I’m the most ancient and international human heritage.

I’m Brad, the Loaf of Bread

British Bread and Butter Pudding

Restaurants were invented to serve us in many ways

and combinations and we created lots of jobs and business

And People worked hard to get us

Page 7: A day in the life of Brad the bread loaf

Some work in growing us: farmers

Some bring the ingredients together: truck drivers, boats

Some work in preparing us: bakers, cooks

Some work in making us available: supermarkets

And People worked hard to get us

The mother uses the final 3 slices of the now stale

load to make bread crumbs to cover the top of the lasagne she has made for a celebration dinner with her extended family.

3 days later

Even after 3 days Brad continues to add value to the family by nourishing them and adding the finishing touches to a dish that is all about celebrating family and friends.

Remember the game where you got a BIC pen, took

out the ink tube and used the pen as a blow gun. You then filled it up with bread crumb balls and the fun begun ? Lisa from New Zealand had never heard of this but Elena grew up in France and Patricio in Chile and both thought this game was awesome when they were kids – and of course it got you into lots of trouble FOR PLAYING WITH YOUR FOOD!
