We had the opportunity to speak to Chief Fire Prevention Officer, Wendy Cowdrey and she gave us a few wise words to share for Fire Prevention Week (Oct 9–15):
“There is no better time than during Fire Prevention Week to ensure your family can safely escape in the event of an emergency. Check your smoke alarms and take the time to practise a fire drill in your home or business. An escape plan can help you and your family survive a fire.”
