    When designing our Investment Platorm we had various aims in mind; we wantedto create something simple yet powerul; we wanted to give you an eective

    investment oering; and we wanted to oer you unique planning tools.

    Our process is seamlessly linked, so with single data input you can analyse, plan,

    transact and monitor business. Using unique research and planning tools, matched

    with a wide and diverse range o investment unds, managers and strategies you can

    more eectively and eciently advise your clients. And our systems use those same

    data inputs to automatically produce all the reports needed to show the logic o

    your process or client and compliance purposes.

    This guide introduces you to these processes and shows you how to begin using

    them either in a specially designed demo environment or within your own system

    once we make the Investment Platorm live.

    Click the tab called Research to get there.

    Navigate to research.

    Either select an existing client or add a new prospect.

    I using the demo, click Start > Client Files > Add a new client.

    Create a new dummy client.

    Choose your client.

    The Investment Objectives chart intelligently plots the ouputs rom

    your questions as soon as you answer them. The red line indicates

    where you client wants to be. T he blue line indicates a projection based

    upon your clients attitude to risk, with the grey shaded area showing

    any risk fuctuation. Hover your mouse cursor over the dierent points

    to see their numerical value.

    Categorise dierent products based upon

    dierent needs and investment objectives.

    Construct the portfolio.

    Click the und to choose an investment strategy, select unds using asset

    allocation or choose unds without guidance. Step 9 explains how this works.

    Click to reset clients objectives and return to the Investment

    Objectives or the overall wrap.

    Once happy click Conrm client details to proceed to the

    next step.

    Click the delete button to remove this product. You can add new

    products by selecting the Add new product option.

    Click the edit button next to each product to treat each product

    individually including naming, changing attitude to risk and

    adjusting term.

    Click the ees button to set individual ees per product.

    You can add an overall ee or the whole wrapper by selecting theSet ees option.

    Click the Investment Objectives button to set individual objectives

    or this product as seen in s tep 7.

    Click the name o any strategy to select this or your client.

    Click the strategy to select it or your clients product.

    Select the investment strategy.

    9.Select an exclusive SEI Investment Strategy based

    upon your clients attitude to risk.

    Click the blue I icon to learn more about the

    strategy itsel.

    Available investment strategies will vary based upon your clients attitude

    to risk and what is currently on oer. Below are some possible choices:

    Use the asset allocation engine to create a portolio

    o unds or your client based upon Morningstar

    Ibbotson models.

    Use Financial Express und eeds to create a

    portolio or your client without using the risk tools.
