Lord, we thank you for the goodness of our people and for the spirit of justice that fills this nation. We thank you for the beauty and fullness of the land and the challenge of the cities. We thank you for our work and our rest, for one another, and for our homes. We thank you, Lord: accept our thanksgiving on this day. We pray and give thanks through Jesus Christ our Lord.

From the Pastor’s Desk Dear Parishioners of St Stephen: Everything we have is a gift. As Catholics we celebrate Thanksgiving Day as a reminder of everything God has given us. The land is so abundant in its harvest that we take for granted all it gives us. Moreover, in this country we enjoy many blessings and resources to expand our lives beyond all imagination. Though we can implement and produce many things, we have to recognize that all the talents we have are given by our Creator. Part of our Thanksgiving gatherings is to acknowledge and to hand on that precious truth to the coming generation, our children. We did not make ourselves; we did not fashion this wonderful creation. When we face Jesus Christ at the end of our days the only thing we can present to him is our hands full of thanks for all he has done for us. Therefore, let us celebrate this weekend with a humble and generous spirit. On behalf of St Stephen Protomartyr’s Staff and myself we wish you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving. St. Stephen Culinaires will be hosting a
Bake Sale on Saturday, December 1st after the 5 p.m. Mass
and Sunday, December 2nd from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Anyone who would like to bake is asked to bring the baked goods to the school entrance off the parking
lot (door “C”) anytime after 3:30 p.m. on the 1st and 8 a.m. on the 2nd.

2018 CHRISTMAS RAFFLE Tickets go on sale this weekend. We are hoping for an outstanding year.
Our goal is to sell 3000 tickets. Tickets will be $10 each. We are asking that
parishioners sell 10 tickets. You will then get a “Bonus Ticket” to be put into the
raffle. Sell them to your co-workers, family and friends.
On each night of the Christmas Novena there will be a $100 winner - December 15- 23
On December 8th we will also have a $125 Early Bird winner in honor of the Immaculate
Conception. December 24th we will have a $250 winner and on
Christmas we will have the BIG WINNER for $1000. You have multiple chances of winning as the ticket will be placed back in the drum each time you win.
Tickets will be available by the confessionals or at the

Christmas Nativity Play We are inviting the children of our Parish to participate in the Nativity play at the family
Mass on Christmas Eve (December 24th) at 5:00 p. m
We encourage children and teenagers from kindergarten through high school to join us in
this year's reenactment of the story of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. There will be
