FOR THE LOVE OF GOD Dr. Rasheed Sayyed Aazzam Translation of an Urdu poem of Hadrat Muslih Mau‘ud, radiyallahu ‘anhu

I pray that your love of God continue to increase

And you experience the pleasure of meeting Him

Your tongue should be witness of His

Oneness

And your heart should relish the faith in God Obedience to the commands of Allah be your

motto

And may you be in the company of the Holy Prophet

May your fortune be high like the shining

star

When you are granted the wealth of true Religion

May the umma listen to the call of the Truth

And I pray for our nation to be strongly united

Spread the message of Islam in the whole

world

May you be granted dominion over the East and the West

May your courage and devotion be sustained

and

May you move towards progress with God’s help

May armies of Angels be your support at

every step

May Allah be your Protector all over the world

His light in your heart and the Quran in your

hand

May you be granted the wisdom of a true believer

Shatter the cunning cobwebs of Dajjal in the

world

With guidance from God, with reason and your faith

A time will come when the whole world will

say:

Allah bless this devout servant of the Holy Prophet’s umma.

Abu Bakr addressed a letter to the rebels through his commanders. He called upon them to lay down their arms. If they persisted in revolt he warned that they would be punished severely. The letter further said that the Commanders had been ordered to give the rebels a chance to surrender peacefully. if they did so they would go unharmed and would instead receive free pardon and every possible help. The commanders were ordered to read his letter in public. Should any tribe say the Azan (the call to prayer), it was to be left alone. In another letter he called upon the commander to conduct themselves with purity, to fight those who refused to surrender, to treat with kindness those who laid down their arms and to receive all dues of the state from them and give them all their dues. They were also required to treat fellow-Muslims with brotherly love and to beware of enemy spite.

KHALID BIN WALID SCORES VICTORY

Khalid bin Walid marchad first on Bazakha where Taliha had camped with a large force. Adi bin Hatima, a loyal tribal chief, requested three days’ respite to win back his tribe Tai to Islam. He succeeded. Another tribe, Jadila, followed their example. Then Khalid bin Walid struck at Taliha’s camp. Taliha was defeated and his army dispersed. Khalid next rounded up Malik bin Nuwirah and his followers at Batiha and put

the whole lot to the sword. The tribes of Tamim surrendered. Khalid next moved to meet Musailma. In a bitter fight that ensued Muslims lost heavily in the first round. They were too few against too many. But they stood firm. After a final fierce attack the false prophet was slain. The Banu Hanifa laid down their arms.

PEACE RESTORED IN YEMEN Muhajir bin Umayya succeeded in

defeating the rebels in Yemen. He captured their leaders and sent them to Medina.

Muhajir next proceeded to Kundah. He was aided by a force under the command of lkramah. Ashas, the rebel chief, was taken by surprise. He surrendered and was sent by Muhajir to Medina. The Khalif granted him and his companions free pardon.

BAHREIN CLEARED OF REBELS Ala bin Hazrami reached Bahrein after a

hard journey. There he saw the Abdul Qais, a Muslim tribe, in a very unhappy position. They were hard pressed by the rebel chief Hutam and his force. Hutam had also received aid from the Emperor of Iran. An army of 7,00 Iranians was at his back. Hutam had dug deep and wide moat around his camp. After month long fight the rebels were dispersed. Their leader was killed in battle and Munwir bin Noman, the Iranian officer, was taken prisoner.

UMAN RECONQUERED Hazifa bin Mohsin aided by Urifja bin

Harema and lkramah bin Abu Jahl invaded Umman. Laqit, the rebel fake prophet, was

defeated in open battle. His forces suffered heavily.

lkramah succeeded in smashing the strength of the rebel leaders in Mohra, One rebel chief Sakhrit surrendered. Musbah, the other ring-leader, gave battle and was defeated. He fell in the battle-field.

Amr bin Alas met with great success in his operations against the rebels of Qazaa.

ARABIA RE-UNITED All the forces sent by Abu Bakr won great

victories. Khalid bin Walid topped the list of the heroes of war. The whole of Arabia was conquered back. All the tribes returned to the fold of Islam. There was again peace in the land. Zakat-tax arrears and spoils of war poured in the capital from every direction. Islam was once more firm on its feet. The ranks of Muslims were re-united. All this happened in one year. A small force of Muslims had won sweeping victories against big armies. And this was due to the wisdom, courage, foresight, and faith of one man, Abu Bakr.

PUNITIVE FORCE SENT TO IRAN Now Abu Bakr decided to take punitive

measures against Iran. Khalid bin Walid who was at Yamama was ordered to march on Iran from Ubulla and Iyadh was directed to operate from the northern border-line. Both were to aid Mathanna who had conquered back Bahrien. On reaching Ubulla, Khalid wrote to Hurmuzan, the Persian governor, advising him to embrace Islam, or pay jiziah (tribute) or prepare for war. “I have come with a people who love death as much as you love life,” he warned.

Iraq was peopled mostly by Arabs. They were ruled by their tribal chiefs who were vassals of the Iranian throne. Iran was under

the Sassanides. It was rich, had powerful armies and a strong navy. It ruled large parts of Arabia. Yemen and Hedjaz paid tributes to the Iranian Emperor. But Arab chiefs often rebelled Against the imperial master. Iran would always hit back hard. Once the whole of Arabia rose in open revolt against the minor Chosroe Shahpur. On coming of age, he over-ran the country as far as the neighbourhood of Medina.

Iranians naturally looked down upon Arabs and were mad with rage at Khalid’s letter.

BATTLE AT HAYFA The first battle took place at Hayfa.

Hurmuz was killed in single combat with Khalid. A general attack followed. Iranians were mowed down in large numbers. But they fought hard and long. They were far better equipped and in greater numbers than the Muslims. This event is known as the Battle of Chains. Muslims collected stores of arms and spoils of war. A fifth share was sent to the centre and the rest was divided among the troops. Khalid was rewarded with the costly crown of Hurmuz.

THE VALAJA ENCOUNTER Soon a large Iranian army advanced

against Muslims under Qaran. A battle was fought at Mazar. Iranian troops lost heavily again. Some 30,000 fell in the battlefield. The Chosroe was now greatly alarmed. He collected more troops and sent two big armies, one under Indarzgar and the other under Bahman. The battle was joined at Valaja. After a severe fighting Iranians were repulsed. Christian units also suffered heavily. They had enlisted in the Iranian force. They were greatly enraged and called for revenge. Another fierce battle took place

at Ullais. The Iranians were again beaten and took to flight. Khalid marched on and captured Amgnisra. It was a large town and had great wealth. His next stop was at Hira. The Iranian governor had fled at his approach. The town surrendered after a few days. The citizens of Hira agreed to pay tribute. In return Khalid gave them a guarantee of protection. He also received rich presents. He sent both the tribute money and the presents to Medina. Abu Bakr accepted the tribute. He believed that a Muslim State could not claim anything beyond tribute from its non-Muslim subjects. He therefore credited the presents as advance payment of tribute.

Khalid treated the enemy so well that many Iranian landlords and peasants offered to submit willingly. Soon there was peace in the land. The owners of the soil were well-satisfied with the new government. They had only to pay light taxes. They were free to lead their lives as they pleased. They were also free to worship God as they believed. Adi, the Christian chief of Hira, told Khalid that he would pay tribute but would not abandon Christianity. He was assured that the Muslim State would never interfere with his religious beliefs.

The Iranians were greatly dismayed. They deposed the Emperor Shahpur and chose Yazdjar as their king and prepared to meet the Muslim with renewed vigour and zeal.

BATTLE AT ANBAR Iyadh had failed to achieve much in the

north. Khalid therefore advanced with his army to northern Iraq. The enemy, took refuge in their fort Anbar. They had dug a

deep moat around the town. Khaild filled it with carcasses of camels and crossed over. A fierce battle followed. Iranians fought bravely but lost ground. Their commander Sherzad sued for peace. He and his troops were allowed to depart in safety.

Khalid next marched to Ainaltamar where Iranian general Mehran had camped with a large army of Iranians and Christian Arabs. Aqa, the Arab tribal chief offered to give battle to Khalid. Mehran liked the idea of Arabs fighting Arabs. He therefore fell back. But before Aqa could array his troops in battle position, Khalid physically seized hold of his person. When his tribals saw their chief captured alive they lost heart and made off. Mehran decided to follow in their footsteps. Aqa’s followers took shelter in a fort. Khalid laid a siege to it and forced them to surrender. Forty children were among the captives. Of them one was Musa whose son Nasir later conquered Spain. The other was Sirin whose son Muhammad later won fame as a luminary of learning.

ENCOUNTER AT DAUMATUL JANDAL

At this time Iyadh sent an appeal for aid. He was engaged in battle against Christain tribes. He had besieged Daumatul Jandal. It was a frontier post near the joint border of Syria, Arabia and Iraq. Hira, Kalb, Ghassan and Tanuk tribes had joined hands against Muslims. One of their chief, Uchaider bin Malik, warned Christians against war on Khalid. He was killed by the hostile Arabs. Khalid and Iyadh made a two-pronged attack on the enemy force. In the severe battle that ensued, the frontier tribes were badly beaten.

Their city was taken and their fort stormed. MORE BATTLES WITH IRANIANS In the absence of Khalid from Hira, Iran

sent two huge armies to conquer back the town. Khalid hastened to Hira. His forces wiped out the enemy at Hasid and Khinafish. Khalid then moved to Mazih where Iranians and Arab tribals were given another battle and defeated. A series of clashes followed.

CLASH WITH ROMANS Muslims went on winning till they met the

enemy at Faraz. It was a frontier point under the Romans. Romans had gathered a very large force there. They crossed the river to give battle but met defeat. Romans lost 100,000 men in the field. After this victory Khalid returned to Hira.

KHALID PROCEEDS TO SYRIA lt was now the thirteenth year of the Hijra.

Khalid was ordered to march to Syria to help Amr bin Alas. A Muslim army lay at Yarmuk under the African general Khalid bin Said. Leaving Mathna bin Harsa in charge, Khalid bin Walid marched to Syria. Before joining Muslim forces at Busra, he reduced many enemy strong-points on the way. There were some 24,000 Muslim troops in Syria. Abu Ubayadah bin Al-Jarrah, Amr ibn Alas, Sharjit bin Hasna and Yazid Ibn Sufiyan commanded a unit each. Three thousand troops were under Khalid bin Said. Khalid bin Walid commanded a force. of 10,000.

KHALIF’S MESSAGE TO COMMANDERS

In a message to the Commanders, the Khalif said:

“Treat your troops with kindness. When you advise them, use few words. Respect the envoys of the enemy. Let them not be long with

you so that they leave your camp without learning anything. Guard your secrets well. Relate always true facts so that you may receive sound advice. Sit at night with your comrades; thus will you collect all the news. Post guards at the camp and make surprise visits to them often. If you punish someone rightly then have no fear in your heart. Never show cowardice as otherwise others will lose heart.”

BATTLE AT YARMUK Romans had gathered a very big force.

Heraclius, the Emperor, had personally directed the plan of operations. The Muslim army of 26,000 lay encamped facing the enemy at Yarmuk. When Khalid bin Walid joined them, he advised that they should fight under single command.

“This day shall be remembered forever. We should not have any vain thought or any idea of pride. But we should work hard for Allah only. The enemy is in great discipline and array. We should get together. If we repulse the Romans, we will ever continue pressing them hard. If, God forbid, they defeat us, then we will be nowhere.”

The other commanders agreed and chose him as the chief.

The battle was long and bloody. Romans fought hard. For long the issue seemed undecided. lkramah bin Abu Jahl suddenly shouted. “Who will pledge. to die with me?” Four hundred Muslims came forward. They made a desperate and determined attack at the heart of the enemy force. All were either killed or severely

wounded. But the enemy was routed. Romans lost 100,000 men. lkramah died of injuries received in the battlefield.

It was there that a wounded Muslim asked for water. It was brought to him. But he heard another voice making the same request. He directed that it be given to the other brother. When the water was brought to the other, he heard another voice begging for it. He similarly directed that the other should have the drink first. Thus seven men were heard asking for water and each in turn directing that it be given to the next. But before it could reach the one, the other had died. Thus all the seven died.

Muslims lost 3,000 men. Among them were one thousand companions of the Prophet. Even Muslim women took part in the battle. But this signal defeat broke the back of the Romans. Many of their famous generals were slain. The Roman Emperor knew that the end of his rule over Syria had come.

DEATH OF ABU BAKR News of Abu Bakr’s death was received

while the battle still raged. Omar had taken over as Khalif.

Before his death, Abu Bakr named Omar as his successor. He had been ill for two weeks only. During his sickness the old Khalif realized that his time was up. He felt it his duty to find a suitable man to succeed him. After considerable thought he decided to nominate Omar. After consulting leading companions, he announced his decision. “Will you accept the man I appoint over you? I have consulted well and have not nominated any relation but have named

Qmar,” said he, addressing the people. With one voice, they said, “Aye, we agree.” Then he called Uthman to write out the following:

“In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. This is the last deed of Abu Bakr bin Abi Qahafa when he is on the last leg of his journey from the world and is entering the first stage of the hereafter. This is an hour when even an infidel is a believer and a doubter is sincere and a liar is truthful. I have nominated Omar as Khalif for you. Obey him therefore. In this lies obedience to Allah and His Prophet. I have done my best for your welfare and mine. If he is just I expect only that of him.”

ADVICE TO OMAR Next he called Omar and advised him in

these words: “O Umar! always fear God and

work constantly for the good of Islam and Muslims. O Omar, some duties of Allah relate to the day; He will not accept them at night. Some duties of Allah relate to the night; He will not accept them during the day. O Omar! when you read in the Quran about the people of hell, pray io Allah not to put you among them and when you read of the people of Paradise, pray that He may put you among them.”

Abu Bakr then prayed to God to take care of Muslims,. He was 63 years old when he passed away on 21 Jamadius Sani, thirteenth year of the Hijra (22 August 633). He was

Khalif for two years and three months. Abu Bakr was the first among free men to

accept Islam. He was a leading and rich noble of Mecca, a wealthy trader and highly respected among the Qureish. He was with the Prophet during his escape from Mecca. He was with him in every battle. He was his father-in-law, his counsellor, his faithful friend and obedient devotee. He gave all his wealth away in the cause of Islam. He freed slaves and led prayers during the last illness of the Prophet and was buried next to him. A companion in life and after death, Abu Bakr was a rich man when he accepted, Islam. When he became Khalif, he had to accept a grant from the treasury. It was a very small amount. On his death-bed, he directed sale of his property to pay back the money he had received from the community chest. When Omar heard this, he said, “Abu Bakr has left a hard example for his successors.”

Tall and fair, the Khalif was a man of mild temper but iron will. He used to milk the goats of a neighbour. When he became

Khalif, the neighbour’s little girl said, “I wonder if he would milk our goats now.” The Khalif said, “Aye, I will.” And he was as good as his word.

Abu. Bakr was assisted in his work by Omar, Ali, Uthman, and Zaid bin Thabit. He kept no regular or paid army. The troops of Islam were volunteers. They looked after themselves but were given 4/5 of the spoils of war. The rest was distributed among the companions and the poor.

The country was divided into eleven provinces. The governors were known men of piety and valour. They were also judges and prayer-leaders.

To Abu Bakr belongs the honour of collecting the Quran in book form and bringing the rebel Arabs back to the fold of Islam.

FEAR IS THE STONEMASON" Spiritual Prose Jonathan M.A. Ghaffar, Los Angeles CA

Fear is the Stonemason of the prison of our sins.

With each brick of selfishness do we slowly build higher

the walls that separate us from Allah’s sunlight of Forgiveness.

Our tears of regret let flow will surely loosen the mortar

of our despair from which we fashion with passion-trembled hands

the fortress of our inner Shaitan.

Our hope for the Mercy of Allah brings His Light of Guidance

and Grace upon the darkest shadows of a soul’s long night, for

Tahajjud is His blessed gift of silence before the dawn, wherein

a humbled heart might whisper a tearful prayer into the ear of God.

“Follow not the footsteps of Shaitan,” our loving Lord commands,

that we not stumble in our darkness. Then He brings us close in

the embrace of His promise that He purifies whomsoever He pleases,

else all would be lost. For Allah is the All-Hearing that we may be heard,

the All-Knowing that we may truly know ourselves to be His creation,

made perfection willed to strive and choose—with Him or without,

beside ourselves in doubt as long as we listen to our fear and want.

Alone as long as we choose to close our eyes in arrogance and pride.

Trapped in our past or blinded by tomorrow’s temptations of delight,

we sacrifice our Now-ness with Allah upon the altar of our sins and fears.

Lay your prayer mat before the Throne of God.

Despair not of the countless millions who precede you to the Hall,

for His chamber, most surely, is a room that has no walls.

Beseech Him then for Light on Light that illumines from within

and fills the heart with gladness and kills the flames of sin.

Seek, therefore, His Power which can free the tortured heart.

Beg the help of Allah alone—the One Whom none can thwart,

His Mercy a flood no walls of pain withstand.

Humility is the hand that knocks upon His Door;

your righteousness the key that opens it here and evermore.

Live within each moment and know that each moment lives in God.

He frees you every instance you return again to Him,

so hold fast the rope connecting you to Him.

It’s ever in you always there, protecting you from sin.

The Light of God is Allah’s Love, the Love of God is Allah’s Light.

Let not fear, the stonemason of sin, entomb your soul in night.

In Allah’s daylight you’re already free -- He’s just waiting

for you to leave your unlocked cell, not ever to return.

Choose now and forever His Loving arms and not the fires that burn,

for your fear is but the stonemason, His Love the key you turn.

Refutation of Divinity of the Messiah of Nazareth, peace be on him Malik Abdur-Rahman Khadim, B.A., LL.B. (1910-1957)

2. Christian Arguments and their Refutation

Continued from Al-Nahl, Vol. 14, No. 1 Third Argument that is used to prove the

divinity of Jesus is a saying of Jesus to his Jewish opponents, “Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.” [John 8:23]

Reply: The meaning of this saying are very clear. O Jews! I am a prophet. My knowledge is heavenly and you are dying for earthly knowledge. How can you compete with me. This is an everyday saying and is used even in Urdu. Note that we call a person earthly or worldly. It does not mean that he lives on the earth and in the world, as pious people also live on the earth in the world. Jesus too lived in this world for thirty years (120 years according to us). Such expression means that this person does not have relation with God but rather loves this world. Similarly, Jesus said to the Jews, I do not inherit your adopted knowledge and earthly skills, but rather I inherit heavenly knowledge. But if a Christian is bent upon insisting to prove the divinity of Jesus from this sentence then he should remember that even in this saying there is no singularity for Jesus, rather all pious people and disciples are included in it. See the citations:

1. Messiah submits to God in a prayer concerning disciples: “… because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the

world.” John 17:14 Now if Jesus is God for not being of this

world then all the disciples should also be considered God due to this reason.

2. At one place, Jesus addresses the disciples, “… because ye are not of the world.” John, 15:19

Fourth Argument Jesus says, “I and my Father are one. [John

10:30] … the Father is in me, and I in him.” [John 10:38]

Reply: If these words can be a proof for the divinity of Jesus then all those people about whom Jesus himself used such words in the Gospels also deserve divinity. See citation:

1. At one place, pleading for the disciples before God, says, “That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: [that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.] John 17:21-23

Now if someone can become Divine becoming one then all disciples should also be Divine. Also see:

2. [At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.] John 14:20

Q2/2003 ·©¿öZ - Al-Nahl Page 23

Fifth Argument Jesus said, “I proceeded forth and came

from God.” “ … this day have I begotten thee?” John 8:42, Hebrews 1:5.

Reply: 1. Read the complete citation. “Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.” John 8:42

Thus, by explaining proceeded forth, Jesus himself clarified that it is not embodiment of divinity but rather is an expression of the attribute of sending of messengers. See for further details:

[8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.] John 17:8

2. He that is of God heareth God’s words: [ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.] John 8:47

3. [But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them] that believe on his name: Which were born, [not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but] of God. John 1:12-13

4. [If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that] every one that doeth righteousness is born of him. 1 John 2:29

5. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; [for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.] 1 John 3:9

6. [Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ] is born of God: and every one that loveth him [that begat loveth him also that is

begotten of him.] 1 John 5:1 7. [For in him we live, and move, and have

our being;] as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think [that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.] Acts 17:28-29

9. [For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified] are all of one: [for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,] Hebrews 2:11

Sixth Argument “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to

day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8 Reply: But is written: 1. Before the mountains were brought

forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Psalms 90:2

2. [Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he:] before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. Isaiah 43:10

3. Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. Hebrews 7:3

Investigative Reply: Of yesterday and today to be similar for Jesus, also of his knowledge being from the beginning to the end, require proof, rather gospel negate it. As an example:

1. Did not know whether the fig tree had fruit or not. [Now in the morning as he

returned into the city, he hungered. And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.] Matt. 21:18-19 and, [And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.] Mark 11:12-14

2. [25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, [26] And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, [27] When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. [28] For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. [29] And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said,] Who touched my clothes? Mark 5:25-30

Seventh Argument Jesus’ birth without father. Reply: If Jesus can be god because he was

without father then Adam should be double god because as Jesus was just without father, Adam not only was without father but also did not have any mother either. Similarly Malik Sadiq Salim also deserved to be god incarnate because he was without father and mother. See Hebrews 7:3 [1 For this

Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; 2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace; 3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. Hebrews 7:1-3]

Also, apart from this, all those animals created by God at the onset without parents should be gods incarnate. Even if we ignore them, are all the insects, etc, brought to life at the beginning of rains without parents are not partners with Jesus in divinity? Rather they have a better claim as some one may anticipate father for Jesus. But what doubt can be there about one who does not even have a mother. Though we consider Mary as chaste and virtuous but who can shut the mouths of the world and refute the allegations of the Jews?

Eighth Argument: Adam sinned. Therefore, the seed of sin was sown in all of his progeny and all humans were affected. As Jesus was not from Adam’s seed so he did not bear sin, and on God is without sin, so Jesus is God.

Reply: Each one of the claims in this argument are basically wrong. Hear sequentially:

1. It is utterly against the justice of God that the progeny of God be considered sinful because of the sin of Adam. Is this the justice of the Father God of the Christians that the son be considered sinner when father sins?

2. This also is incorrect that whoever is the progeny of Adam is a sinner, by inference as

proven above and by tradition. Open your own book of Luke 1:6: “And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.” Observe that these are good words for Zacharias and his wife. It is very clear from this quote that both husband and wife were completely sinless. Therefore, the claim that all of Adam’s progeny is sinner , is wrong according to Luke himself as Zacharias and his wife were from the progeny of the ancient Adam.

3. To say that whoever is not from Adam’s progeny is sinless is quite a clear fallacy. Is Satan not a sinner? Is he from the progeny of Adam? Then the snake sinned and it had to eat dirt. Is it from the progeny of Adam? Then were all those ghosts and spirits driven out by disciples not cursed? Were they from the progeny of Adam?

4. Christians claim to Jesus’ sinlessness parallels the example of a receeding plaintiff and a vociferous witness. Jesus clearly admits, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God [Mark 110:18]. Even if Jesus had claimed himself, no one is convinced without an argument. We consider Jesus to be good as Quran has praised him, but who will confound the Jews? They readily start accusing him: He did this and he did that. Was anointed by a shady lady, abused Jewish scholars, intruded a farm along with his disciples without permission, was gluttonous and drinker. Who will stop the Jews?

Christians argument that Jesus was pure and sinless because he was not from the progeny of man, is utterly baseless, because:

1. Adam’s sin, which according to the Christians, is hereditarily carried through his progeny, its actual responsible (according to Genesis 3:11-6) was not Adam but was Eve who misled Adam under the influence of Satan. Thus Jesus is rendered a sinner being born of Eve.

2. It is written in the Old Testament: A. [How then can man be justified with

God? or ] how can he be clean that is born of a woman? Job 25:4

B. [What is man, that he should be clean?] and he which is born of a woman, that he should be righteous? Job. 15:14

5. Because Jesus was sinless so he is God. But Jesus is not alone in such divinity. Zachariah was sinless, Zachariah’s wife was clean of sin, so she became God and also a wife of a God. Such reasoning also makes John God because his mother was God and his father was God. John should rather be a greater God than Jesus, because the mother of Jesus was human while both parents of John were Gods.

Malik Sadiq Selim also deserves divinity because he was not from Adam, and one who is not from Adam is clean of sin, and one who is clean of sin, is God, so Malik Sadiq Selim also becomes God. Then all the angels are Gods because they are clean of sin. Then all animals, quadrupeds, and birds deserve divinity as they are not touched by sins.

Ninth Argument: Became alive after three days of death.

Reply: Jesus was not raised from physical death but was raised spiritually:

A. 1 Peter 3:18 [For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that

Refutation of Divinity of the Messiah of Nazareth, peace be on him

he might bring us to God,] being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

[8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10] For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
