INTRODUCTION

The waste collector is also called sweeper machine also. Working principle of broom

machine is based on centrifugal separation and reused, keeping particulate matter inside the

hopper. A street sweeper or street cleaner may refer to either a person's occupation, or a

machine that cleans streets. A street sweeper cleans the streets, usually in an urban area.

Street sweepers have been employed in cities since sanitation and waste removal became a

priority.

A street sweeping person would use a broom and shovel to clean off litter, animal waste and

filth that accumulated on streets. Later, water hoses were used to wash the streets. Machines

were created in the 19th century to do the job more efficiently. Today, modern street sweepers

are mounted on truck bodies and can vacuum debris that accumulates in streets.

Four wheel drive sweeper is working on same principal but in correction are this sweeper are

used only big dust and dry surface use and this are weight are more and costly. Four wheel

drive in use so many component used so design are complicated so this all correction solution

by hand drive sweeper machine so this sweeper we modification in this design.

WORKING

Hand drive sweeper is shown in figure. four wheel drive sweeper is working on same

principal but in correction are this sweeper are used only big dust and dry surface use and this

are weight are more and costly. Four wheel drive in use so many component used so design

are complicated so this all correction solution by hand drive sweeper machine so this sweeper

we modification in this design.

Hand drive sweeper in use two big wheels and two small wheels. One brush in used and four

sprocket gear are used two small sprocket and other two are big sprocket. First sweeper is

working on surface so rear wheel direction is clock wise direction so this two wheel are

mount on rear shaft so motion transfer wheel to shaft after this shaft two end attach two big

sprocket so this motion are transfer shaft to big sprocket.

T is big sprocket are attach with small sprocket by chain drive so motion transfer big sprocket

to small sprocket by chain drive. And after this motion direct transfer to brush so brush rotate

in clock wise direction and in this drive used four teeth split brush. In this brush design, four

teeth available on brush so these teeth create gape so sweeper is working in mud or other

surface where water is available. Because this gape in split brush only collect dust .After

running of teeth no take water and only dust collect and throw in dust bin. In this hand drive

back side dustbin is used.

LITERATURE REVIEW

Cyclone separators are extensively used for a particle controlling industries as, air pollution

control, aerosol sampling and particulate matter control, due to their simplicity of design,

inexpensive manufacturing cost, ease in maintenance and adaptability to a wide range of

operating conditions [1]. Despite of simplicity and other operational advantages, well

designed cyclone separators can be efficiently remove particles larger than 2 micrometer in

size [2]. Cyclone separators can be classified according to their body shape, inlet

configuration, and inlet/outlet flow direction [3].

Most popular cyclone separator type is reversed flow type which consists of a slot type inlet

and a conical-body (cylinder-on-cone). Relevant to the literature, many studies (e.g., [4] and

[5]) have been performed theoretical, experimental and lately computational fluid dynamic

(CFD) simulations to understand the performance of slot type inlet cyclone separators by

considering geometry and operational conditions. These researches were also involved to

develop design parameters and relationships in order to improve and estimate collection

efficiency.

To increase the performance of cyclone separator, knowledge based on effect of particle solid

loading rate is one of main parameter for any type of cyclone design. Earliest study [6], have

been stated that, there could be a small increment of collection efficiency with the increase

of solid loading under the assumption of coarser particles carry finer particles to cyclone wall

region [7]. Coal fire thermal power plants are keys to power production in the country. They

play vital role in power generation and distribution, and constitute 64.75% of total power

production in India [8].

CONCLUSION

The machine is developed to remove dust on streets, government places, privet places,

industries, etc. and clean the city. We have decided to improve Sweeping Equipment. In our

now a day life we are using some conventional sweeping equipment Like broom But It

require lots of effort for sweeping work and If the area of sweeping is bigger Like municipal

ground, Gardens, bus and railway stations, college ,government colony, airport yards then

more men- power and time is required to clean such areas.
