Our system allows you to:

• Tweet status messages to the wiki page while you are working with other collaborators.

• Tweet status messages to Twitter.

• Tweet status messages from Twitter website or clients to the wiki page so you can easily keep in touch with your collaborators.

This is a sample page we will create for your group in Confluence. Confluence functions like a standard wiki platform.

• In order to enable the Twitter panel from where you can send and read the status messages, you can simply add a Confluence macro “{dandelion-twitter}” into the content when you edit a wiki page.

Enable the Twitter panel in a wiki page.

In future edits, please don’t remove the macro otherwise the Twitter panel will be disabled.

• For first-time users, the “link with my Twitter account” hyperlink will be displayed after the macro “{dandelion-twitter}” is added into the content. You are required to link your twitter account to Confluence before you can send any status message from the wiki pages.

“send this tweet to” allows you to simultaneously send an email notification to someone about your tweet.

“Private” means you can hide the tweet from other members. You can use this as a personal log.

“Protected” means your tweet is only published to Confluence, but NOT to Twitter.

• You can also tweet your messages from Twitter web site or client to the wiki page. Each message posted from wiki page will be appended with a hash tag, starting with #, and you need add this hash tag if you want to tweet your message from Twitter client directly.
