This weeks spotlight is the Newsletter Editor and MC Office Manager Rachel Erin Hendrix. Rachel began her position with A-State this past June. She is an A-State Alum who has a passion for social justice. Rachel is from Trumann, where she grew up on a family farm. She received a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2013, and is currently seeking a Masters Degree.

Do you have any hobbies?
I am a fiber artist. I raise English Angora Rabbits, and use their wool to spin yarn.
What is the best part of your job?
The students! I love interacting with passionate young people!

There were no events in the MC last week. Which was a welcome reprieve for the MC Staff as we are keeping busy! However, we had the joy of welcoming our MC Ambassadors who began their office hours last week.
Join us for our Hispanic Heritage Month Kick-Off on Thursday,September 14, 2017, 11a.m. to 1 p.m. on Heritage Lawn. Hispanic Heritage Month is September 15 to October 15.
