Sakson Group was incorporated under the law of the Arab Republic of Egypt as an independent drilling contractor, specialising in the management of drilling rigs and tubular running services to the Oil & Gas Industry.

Strengthened presence in Iraqi-Kurdistan and extended operations to the Southern Region of Iraq.

Saknafta Petroleum Services was created, a subsidiary specialisinginoilfieldservicesranging from coiled tubing and reservoir stimulation, to pipeline and process services and the supplyofoilfieldproducts.

Purchasedthefirstrigandexpanded the geographical footprint into Africa, commencing operations in both Tanzania and Kenya.

QHSE Standards & CertificationSakson is committed to achieve on an ongoing basis, an outstanding QHSE performance. The Company is aware of the challenges to excel in the implementation of our QHSE Management system, but it has the processes and procedures in place to reach and maintain its goal of working for its client’s incident free.

In its drive to meet and exceed the applicable industry standards, Sakson provides to its employees training sessions and processes, as well as continually investing in best practices.

In addition, Sakson always works to ensure safe delivery of its services through a companywide commitment to implement a quality management system (SIMS, Sakson Integrated Management System), which integrates QHSE in our business philosophy.

Sakson has established its integrated QHSE management system (SIMS) in order to enhance its performance, and to ensure that there is no deviation from standard technical procedures. SIMS’s ensures thatallrisksassociatedwithdifferentoperationalactivitieshavebeenclearlyidentified,andeithercompletelyeliminatedorminimizedtoAsLow As Reasonably Practical Levels (ALARP).

Sakson’s QHSE management system (SIMS) demonstrates theCompany’sfirmcommitmenttowardstheprotectionoftheenvironment, and its drive to comply with applicable local regulations in each country it works in.
