What is training?
• Training is the acquisition of knowledge, skills,
and competencies as a result of the teaching
of vocational or practical skills.
• Training is imparted to take care of an
individual’s career development , functional
and skill enhancement.
Statement of the problem• It focuses on training the students to improve
their communication skills.
• The study identifies the important factors that
influence the methods of training, and what
the students expect in the training program
and how the students are benefited through
the training program.
Objectives of the study
• To study the trainee' s perception towards the
Training program
• To study the impact of Training program
towards the development of Trainees.
• To suggest measures to improve the training
program for future trainees.
Scope of the study
• The study is conducted to a specific set of 50
under graduate students of Computer Science
in the Government Arts College , Attur for a
period of 45 days.
Research methodology
The research methodology used is a
• Descriptive study
• Descriptive Study refers to describe
characteristics of population or phenomenon
being studied.
Data Collection
• Primary data
• The data is collected from the students by
using questionnaire.

• Descriptive Statistics – Percentage analysis
Using Microsoft Excel
LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
• The information provided by the respondents
is assumed to be true and accurate, based on
which the conclusions are drawn.
• The students in a state of fear may tend to
provide false information.

RECOMMENDATIONS• The institution can focus more on such
method of training to mould the students to improve their skills and have a better placement opportunity
• We suggest to increase the number of hours (from 80 hours to 100 hours) for training program to have a better understanding of the concept and lay strong foundation in its practical implications.

only the English Grammar training but also soft
skills training such as Resume building,
Personality development, and technical training
such as programming languages like C,C++ and
java etc to meet the changing requirements of
the competitive business environment.
