DINGHY

In origine era il battello che le piccole navi inglesi da diporto o da traffi co usavano per le comunicazioni con la terra. Oggi è terminedella Marina da diporto e indica il battello piùpiccolo, di forme rotonde, a remi o a motore o a vela. Il Dinghy a vela è attrezzato con unalbero a vela aurica.

Originally it was the boat that small english ships were using for pleasure or for traffi c communication with the earth. Today is a word marine recreational and indicates the boat more small, round shapes, rowing or motor or sailing. The Dinghy sailing is equipped with a gaff sail.

Di solito porta una randa all’albero di maestra.- Brigantino a palo: veliero con tre alberi verticali, quelli di trinchetto e maestra a vele quadre, l’albero di mezzana a vele auriche, e con bompresso.- Brigantino-goletta: veliero con due alberi verticali; quello di propra (trinchetto) a vele quadre, quello di poppa (maestra) a vele auriche, e con bompresso.
