We will be starting building work at Khizra Mosque towards the end of July 2019 with our expansion project with changes in car park and closing off of main entrance and parts of the car park for the upcoming months. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We need urgent help with funds for this project. Your funds will be used to help increase the prayer capacity at the mosque, increase youth, sister space and educational facilities. We are in need of £300,000 and can raise this with your generous donations and please donate towards this cause and insha'allah in return build yourself a palace in jannah.

If 600 people donate £500 each we would be able to raise this amount quite easily. Remember this is sadaqah jariyah (ceaseless charity) and your reward will be greatly increased in this blessed month.

Long life food items delivered to homeless at the Booth centre by Khizra Mosque volunteers recently again. Thank you to everyone for the donations and the drop off. Helping the homeless. Youth from Khizra Mosque also prepared packs with sleeping bags, thermal under garments, gloves, warm hats and socks which will be distrib-uted by the homeless project manchester on Sunday. Well done to all.

Mixed martial artsNew classes for mixed martial arts starting at Khizra Mosque from the second July 2019 at 7pm-8pm for those aged 7-14 years and 8pm-9pm for those aged 15 years and over. Whether it’s to train to become a black belt, fight in tournaments, learn grappling or just keep fit turn please attend these sessions.

Lessons derived from the lives of the prophets. A new series at Khizra Mosque.

An excellent new series starting Saturday 22nd June 2019 on the lives of the prophets starting from Adam (AS) to Isa (AS). This will take place every Saturday after Maghrib prayer.

Other activities include archery classes for boys and girls. Inclusive sessions for those with special needs. Please see posters for details.

We recently had a surgery at the mosque for the job centre where they attended to offer advice and support on training, jobs, courses and benefits.

Also Greater Manchester Police held their monthly surgery where an officer was on hand to discuss local issues of concern. On a separate occasion we held a surgery to advertise and promote working for the police and the opportunities it brings with it.

On Friday our volunteers visited a local care home to spend some time talking to residents and give flowers to the elderly residents and staff members.

A badminton competition is taking place in the coming weeks with details attached to the poster above. An opportunity to enter this tournament.

We will be starting our tuition classes for Maths, science and English from KS1 up to GCSE level at Khizra Mosque every Saturday from 2pm-4pm starting on Saturday 28th September 2019.

We are pleased to announce Cricket sessions with All Stars ECB for 5-8yr old starting 4th October for 8 weeks. Please register to confirm your place as this is mandatory for attendance.
