Findings
• Findings provide partial support for Transaction Cost
Economics
– in non-core services such as accounting, companies tend to
outsource risky services and services that require highly specific
assets
• Cloud makes it easier to outsource, especially
decreasing the effect of asset specificity and frequency
of transactions
