Abington Family Newsletter November 2019 Director’s Corner October was full Halloween fun! From the field trip to the Hauntless House, everyone had a good time! Thank you to all the families for your generous donations for the Hauntless House to help us make it fabulous! Also last month, our enrichment programs started and have been a hit! Jump Bunch has been engaging and full of movement and Music has kept everyone singing and dancing. This month we will be talking about all the wonderful things we are thankful for. We will be having a Friendsgiving for all classrooms so be sure to look for the sign-up sheet in your child’s classroom. Be sure to check out the calendar for all the special events. Kasey What’s Happening at Our Center? We have a Parent Group here at Play & Learn and one of the things we have discussed at previous meetings was that Parent would like to have introductions of teachers to include pictures. This would help families put faces to names especially with the new staff. This is a great idea so each month I am going to try to introduce a few teachers with pictures! This month I would like to introduce the following! Miss Thoraya is part of our Pre-K team! She joined us in September and is working in room 13 with Ms. Christina! Miss Cynatra is part of our 2 year old team! She has been with us since May and is working in Room 4 with Ms. Crystal! Miss Alexis is part of our Preschool Team! She also joined us in September and is working in Room 11 with Ms. Sharon. We are so happy to have all of these ladies as part of our Gerstadt family! Thanksgiving Festivities Our Friendsgiving will be on November 21st! Please check your child’s classroom for the signup sheets. Holiday Gift Drives We will be doing a gift drive for Foster Children from Bethany Christian Services. Please look for more information in the weeks to come.
