Minimum 12 years of teaching experience with at least 3 years in an administrative
capacity in an English Medium CBSE/ ICSE school

Fluent in English with excellent communication and leadership skill – ability to lead,
train and motivate
Working knowledge of child psychology and ability to connect with children and parents.
Knowledge of computer applications, especially MS Office tools, namely, Word, Excel
and Power Point.
Age limit: below 50 years of age on 31.03.2016 (Relaxable for exceptional candidates)
Provide two testimonials from eminent educationalists certifying the character andleadership qualities of the applicant
Five year tenure position, subject to renewal before the end of the term.
Salary: (According to VI Pay Commission) PB3 + GP 4600 + DA @119% + HRA +

Essential qualification and requirements for various other positions
ABN being an English Medium School; all candidates must be proficient in Oral and
Written English communication.
For all teaching positions, CTET qualified candidates will be given preference.
Candidates willing to serve as ANO for managing NCC activities will be given credit. PGT/ TGT: At least two I class among XII/ UG/ PG/ B.Ed is desirable. Good academic
grounding and a passion for the subject. Excellent communication skill to effectively
teach the subject and ability to capture to the imagination of the child. Willing to work
hard and try to understand the learning difficulties of the children and develop ways to
address them. To keep an eye on the overall academic performance of the class and
adapt methodology to ensure the best outcome for the child.
PRT/ KG Teacher: At least one I class among XII/ UG/ B.Ed is desirable. Good
English communication skill. Must be socially grounded and understand the problems of
the child. Must be creative in using teaching tools and help the child experience the joy
of learning. The teacher must gauge the potential of the child and council the parents
accordingly.
Nursery Teacher: Enjoys spending time with children. Should have a passion to work
and play with children using song, puppets, toys, etc. Salary: Rs. 22,000
Librarian: Apart from the school library, will also manage the Children’s Library which
will be functional in the evening hours on select days as part of regular duty. Will
implement the Dewey Decimal Classification and library automation. Salary: Rs. 22,000
Music/Dance Teacher: Have a passion for music and dance and should be an exponent
of at least one form. Should enjoy working with children and exhibit patience. Must
demonstrate creative ideas for organizing group dance/singing activities. Must be willing
to give extra time to prepare children for programs and competitions. Salary: Rs. 22,000
Counsellor/Public Relations Officer: Apart from functioning as a student Counsellormust help with school related public relations. Must be skilled in English/Hindi Oral and
Written communication. Proficient with computer usage for preparing documentation for
various purposes. Salary: Rs. 22,000
Computer Technician: Young and motivated individual with proven ability to resolve
Computer related technical problems. Should also have the ability to interface various
gadgets (Computer peripherals, Smart Board, Camera, CCTV, etc) and have a healthy
curiosity for modern educational tools, and to assist in equipping and helping the
teaching and office staff adopt modern methodology. Willing to spend extra time to
complete tasks within the deadline. Salary: Rs. 20,000.

Receptionist/Office Assistant: Note taking and preparing letters in Hindi and English.
Receive calls and schedule meetings. Must possess pleasant manners and eager to serve.
Competent with handling office records and file processing. Comfortable with MS office
tools for data processing and text editing. Salary Rs. 15,000.
Salient features of Service Conditions for Contractual positions:
Full salary during vacation period 14 days CL and 10 days ML on pro rata basis
Prior permission and paid leave to attend programs/workshops that promote professional
growth, where such enhancement is beneficial to the school.
Encouraged to appear in CTET if not already qualified.
Leave to appear in contact classes/ examinations will be granted when prior permission is
taken before registering for courses which enhance ones teaching career.
One month notice period if leaving the service during contract.
SALARY: NT & PRT Rs 22,000; TGT Rs 25,000; PGT Rs 28,000
A 10% increase in the salary if the contract is renewed for the next year after successful
in-house annual appraisal.

Only shortlisted candidates will be telephonically (and via email) contacted for a written
test and computer proficiency test followed by an interview.
Written Test syllabus: PGT – Class XII syllabus; TGT – Class X syllabus; PRT – General
paper with all subjects.
Computer Test: Proficiency in using MS office tools. Using Word, Excel, PowerPoint
and the Internet to perform simple tasks.
Interview: Before a panel with questions from subject matter, teaching methodology,
child development, etc.
Only those possessing prescribed qualifications may apply by sending their complete and
detailed resume with passport size photograph and attested copies of mark-sheet/degree
certificates (class X onwards). The application should include a demand draft for Rs.250/-

Responsibilities of the Headmistress (Primary Section)
1. The Headmistress will be an Ex-officio Member of the School Managing Committee.
2. She will function as Head of the Primary Section of the school and carry out all
administrative duties required of her in coordination with the Principal.
3. Ensure the highest standards of discipline for the smooth conduct of the School.
4. Be the forwarding authority of all matters concerning the Primary section.
5. Supervise, guide and control the work of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the Primary
school.
6. Supervise the preparation of Primary school timetable, allocation of duties and teaching
load to the teachers; shall provide necessary facilities to the teachers in the discharge of
their duties; and shall discharge these duties in consultation with his/her colleagues.
7. Plan the year’s academic work in advance in consultation with her colleagues and hold staff
meeting at least once a month, review the work done during the month and assess the
progress of the pupils.
8. Supervise class room teaching and secure co-operation and coordination amongst teachers
of the same subject areas as well as inter subject coordination.
9. Arrange for special remedial teaching of the children belonging to the weaker sections of
the community and also of other students who need such remedial teaching.
10. Arrange for informal and non-class room teaching.
11. Plan and specify a regular time-table for the scrutiny of pupil’s written work and home
assignment and ensure that the assessment and corrections are carried out timely and
effectively.
12. Make necessary arrangement for organising special instructions for the pupils according to
their needs.
13. Organise and coordinate various co-curricular activities through the house system or in such
other effective ways as she may deem fit.
14. Promote the physical wellbeing of the child, ensure high standard of cleanliness and healthhabits, and arrange periodic medical examinations of the students and send medical reports
to parents or guardians.
15. Devote at least fifteen periods in a week to teaching of the pupils.
