About The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort...Located very near the ski area of Shawnee Mountain, my birthday celebration weekend with
my researching reporters, was the biggest hit of the traveling season. You are always busy and
constantly choosing from a long list of fabulous dining and activity options. The redecorated
hotel provides guests with a lot of activities and comfort during their stay. The hotel oers
guests with 99 rooms that are fully air conditioned and with wireless Internet access, I was able
to communicate with my press o ce, as often as possible. While relaxing in my very comfy
room, I saw my favorite cable television shows, utilized the pristine housekeeping services and
planned my fun-lled days, accord-
ing to the wants and desires of ourvery prestigious group. A visit to the
nearby Pocono Mountains Vacation
Bureau assured us that we had
found the best dining and vacation
buy in the Poconos.
The larger-than-life Olympic pool and wonderfulJacuzzi was the place where we all met and enjoyedthe water and sun streaming in through the win-dows. An outdoor patio is available for those thatdesire the suns warm rays. I love the fact that thepool is large and you can actually do a swim work-
out withoutrunning intofolks. Open
from 10am to10pm, this isa favorite ofmine.
This very scenic and fun-lled river trip was the bestactivity that our whole group experienced. You can
take a raft, canoe, kayak or a canoe, but the raft wasthe most fun, in my opinion.
A Spa vacation is most relaxing & knowledgeable. The services are done by friendly & professionaltherapists, with treatments that are extraordinary, after a hard day of funand food. Im alreadymaking my appoint-ments for the holidayseason when Ill returnwith my researchers.Open daily from 9-5,the spa resort packagescan be tailored to yourneeds. They concentrat-ed on my body and rejuvenated the weak parts, much to my surprise. From wondrous massages toreexology, the exciting hydrotheraphy and fabu-lous facials, we were ecstatic. The salon, with greathair and nail technicians, also did waxing and scalptreatments that equal the nest NYC salons.
DAVID WODARCZYK OF SYRACUSE & JOSEPH GERSON OF MT POCONO: We agree with the many Internet folks wholove the course. It is quite good, especially for a public course. There are 27 holes & 3 distinct 9 hole sections, so onecan actually blend 18 holes over the course of your stay. The grounds are always pristine & as a resident, I can tell youthis with certainty. We liked the length of the course & the dierent l par 3s. Service by the attendants is quite good.

Dining here in the River Room is a delight. I am truly planning my re-turn for the holiday season. Chef Gaurav utilizes seasonings and farm-to-table ingredients that delighted my researchers and enhanced ourvacation. The fusion eclectic menu tickled our taste buds on every level.Service is perfect and portions are generous. For those romantically --and gastronomically inclined, this is the place. The Buckwood Bakery
& Caf prepared the best box lunches for our River Trip and the Gem &Keystone presented wonderful meats and seafood. The Beer selectionsare luxurious and the fresh veggies exciting. We relaxed in the even-ing at the Piano Bar where many locals & visitors sang and exchangedstories of our good times.

They make you feel as if youre partof a private club. From Yelp: The va-riety of the 27 holes, the cheap costof public Pennsylvania golf, and thegreat facilities, make choosing thisGC a no brainer. Its totally worth thedrive from NYC, and if you live anycloser than that, you owe it to your-self to check it out.
