ABOUT TRIBERIATribera is dedicated to be a fresh initiative taken by Unesco to promote the obscure heritage culture of the tribes of Nagaland in the urban areas of india. The word Triberia suggests the tribal land of a place not only as geographical area but also as a civilization. The purpose of the event is also to boost the economy and tourism in the state of Nagaland by creating awareness about the business and tourism prospects the state can offer to urban people. The event is set on the dates of 5th and 6th dec 2015 at Pragati Maidan by Unesco and tourism department of Nagaland as its chief sponsors. The event is designed to showcase a carnival like atmosphere where various interesting activities related to tribal culture of Nagaland are scheduled to be schemed. The proposal behind this concept is to engage the visitors into activities as an audience or as participators and to offer a unique pleasant experience to them in order evoke their interests and enthusiasm for the tribes and their culture.
