Why LGBT workplace inclusion matters
6
Everyone wants to feel they can be accepted at work and that their contribution matters
Diverse & Inclusive workplaces encourage everyone to be themselves
LGBT inclusion in the workplace implies that ALL diverse people are welcome
Organizations set the tone for what they stand for with LGBT inclusion as part of their culture
… and yet we know that..
..so what can we do?
I can be myself at work

Our vision
Vision: Change workplaces around the world to be truly inclusive, ensuring that Lesbians, Gay, Bisexuals and Transgenders are fully visible, valued, empowered, and leading the way for others.
We will achieve this by:
• Equipping organisational leaders to shape workplaces that recognise and harness the talents of LGBT employees
• Connecting and supporting LGBT employees so that they feel empowered to influence and make a difference in their places of work.
• Being a thought leader and provide access to research allowing organisations and public policy makers to make informed decisions that positively impact the lives of LGBT people.

• Challenge employers and employees: We all need to do more! We will always be a minority!
