Qualification & CertificationWTIA is the International Institute of Welding (IIW) Authorised National Body (ANB), providing nationally and internationally recognised qualifications to individuals and companies.

Company Certification Companies around Australia and the world are now adopting the International Institute of Welding (IIW) Manufacturer Certification Scheme According to ISO 3834 (IIW MCS ISO 3834), in order to become more competitive with welded products in the global market place. WTIA is the IIW Authorised National Body for Company Certification (ANBCC).

EventsWTIA runs a wide range of events designed to support current industry needs and areas of interest. In addition to national events, WTIA State Divisions host regular technical visits, presentations and other events throughout the year. Technical visits frequently grant access to WTIA members that is ordinarily not available, offering a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look, for example, at some of the country’s leading fabricators, engineering companies, shipbuilders and research facilities.
