California law requires that college graduates earn at least a 2.0 gpa before being awarded a diploma.

Academic probation is designed to serve as a warning that a student's gpa is too low to graduate.

Those on probation will be subject to regulation and supervision by administrators. (eg must improve GPA by a certain date, must maintain a certain GPA, etc.)

Removal form the university, either due to an extremely low GPA, or for not meeting the requirements of Academic probation.

There are still a variety of careers open to those who do not have college degrees. These include, but are not limited to:

Telecommunications Equipment Installers

Insurance Agent Plumber Electrician Food Service

Workers Entrepreneurs Construction Building

Maintenance

These jobs are all worthwhile, socially-necessary careers.

However, if you would like to get a job that requires a degree, then academic probation and disqualification is not an option.

A professional is someone who has skills that are not easily learned, and even less easily replaced.

It is someone who combines practical skills with theoretical knowledge about their career.

Professionals are valued in almost every sector of the economy, and tend to have better hours, better pay, and better job security than their non-professional counterparts.

Examples of professionals include:

Computer Programmers

Graphic Designers Teachers and

Professors Researchers Doctors, Surgeons,

and Consultants Lawyers Advertisers and

Editors

The trick is simply to keep up your GPA. Remember: everyone needs at least a 2.0 to graduate.

1). At this point you will have a choice: you can either pursue a non-professional career

2). or you can work your way through community college to build up a good enough transcript for re-admission.

3). You will lose your financial aid.
