Guiding Purpose Statement

Purpose Statement

The Academic Resource Center (ARC) exists to support the mission, values, and goals of Concordia University - Ann Arbor. In doing so, the ARC promotes the academic goals of all Concordia students, faculty members, staff, and administrators. By providing a comprehensive academic support system, the ARC bolsters students and faculty in their quest for educational excellence. This includes access to quiet study space, school supplies (on an individual basis), textbooks, academic counseling, peer tutoring, study groups, writing consultations, and disability support services. The ARC helps faculty members by providing feedback and information learned through sessions with student clients, by conducting pre-exam review sessions and, when requested, in proctoring exams for students requiring accommodation.

Know your sheep by name; carefully attend to your flocks
