SPIDER LEGS 101Understanding the Spider Leg Shafts:Spider Legs are assembled with 4 wires, a mini-sized aluminum base with the center drilled out and shrink-wrapped. The wires are inserted into the hole of the base and the shrink-wrap slides down over the wires. A hot blowgun shrinks the wrap tight around the wires. Wrap tightens when cooled.

Proper way to install Spider Leg Shafts:

1 Make sure you have a rubber o-ring at the back end of the thread of the shaft. This helps

make the shaft tight against the barrel. Metal against metal tends to loosen.

2 When screwing the shaft down to the barrel, hold the aluminum base. DO NOT TIGHTEN THE SHAFT

HOLDING THE SHRINK-WRAP. It will cause the seal to break.

3 If you break the seal, quickly run a lighter up and down the shrink-wrap, turning until tightened. Be careful not

to burn yourself or the shrink-wrap. Not responsible for injuries or accidents while fixing the shaft.

When we have your darts in hand, if we cannot fix it (tapping out, etc.) and we are unable to match the problem barrel to the other two in the set, we will replace your set. We will NOT replace barrels with other Laserdart models or different barrel weights.Often when you have a problem getting a shaft or soft tip point to screw into the barrel, it simply needs to be tapped out with a 2BA tap. You can either send the barrels back to us (pay incoming and return shipping only) or purchase a 2BA Tap and Tap handle from your local supplier.Remember ONLY use poly or other nylon based shafts in our MP darts. Unlike other moveable point darts, MP points run the length of the barrel. Therefore, the point hits the part of the shaft screwed into the barrel. “SPIDER LEG” SHAFT: Four high tensile strength wires are anchored in an aluminum base and covered with heat shrunk rubber to form a firm hold on the flight.

“LASER POINT”: A rough black oxide coating is applied to the point to increase friction and prevent softly thrown darts from falling out.

STYLES: Ringed or Knurled models.

ETCHING: Each barrel contains an authentic etching of a black widow.

It is an extremely short and slim barrel

for its weight level. The billet is then center-ground

and shaped with a slightly front-heavy balance for more

consistent dart groupings. After the threads, point cavity and

barrel styles are machined, the billet is checked for proper weight.

The final stages are three different vapor coatings of titanium carbide and titanium/tantalum nitride. These multi-

Lighter than other flight/shaft combinations the weight distribution of the dart barrel becomes slightly front heavy. Also, due to the Condor cut technology, air buoyancy is slightly increased and therefore it is advised to use a slightly lighter than usual throw.

Amazing Flexi-Soft Design features a strong flexi-soft type material that eliminates the looseness around the barrel screw in section to provide a tight fit. REGISTERED WOODSTOCK LOGO 100-MICRONOn August 15-17, 1969, the village of Bethel, NY (with a normal population of 5000) became the 3rd largest city in the state. In a time of war, demonstrations, riots and racial and social unrest, over 400,000 young people converged on Max Yasgur’s 600-acre dairy farm for 3 days of peace, love and music. Thirty-one of the biggest performers of the time performed including: Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Santana, Grateful Dead, the Who, Crosby, Stills & Nash and Jefferson Airplane. By helping each other, a diverse crowd of hippies, yippies, soldiers, college kids, party and curiosity seekers showed the world that people from all races, creeds, sexual, religious and social backgrounds could co-exist through pouring rain, inadequate food and lack of water, medical and sanitation facilities without violence. Woodstock was a moment that united a generation and still stands as a symbol of peace around the world.

Horizon Dart Lending LibraryEverybody likes new dartsSometimes you don't live close to local store like ours where you can spend hours trying any dart you see. Instead, you're in "no man's land" where the nearest dart dealer is hundreds of miles or even states away. Buying on-line presents a huge variety of styles and models but let's face it, anything can look good in a picture... you're buying blind! Who wants to put out good money for darts you can't "touchy-feely"? What if it doesn't work for your grip and delivery? There's a good chance it won't be the right dart for you. If you have a friend you might be able to sell them. But they often go in a drawer somewhere. As the cost of darts rise, this can be costly. This is especially true if they are a high quality, more expensive variety like Laserdarts. So you end up trying your friend's darts and buying what they have because you didn't have any other options. But there's whole world of dart designs out there.

That just doesn’t make sense. So….Horizon Darts came up with the idea of a Dart Lending Library for our US customers. Horizon Dart’s Lending Library operates just like any library. For now, only Laserdarts and selected Horizon Darts will be offered because we are the manufacturer and have inventory available. There will be 1 set of each Laserdart and selected Horizon model in every weight and style available in the library.You can check out up to 2 sets in a specific gram weight and style for a period of 10 business days... just like a book. No more guess work.

• If a style is currently checked out, you will be put on a waiting list and informed as to the approximate wait time. Once the set becomes available, you will be contacted to see if you would still like to check out the darts. • At check out, we will get payment information and charge you for the cost of the set(s) plus Priority Small Flat Rate postage.• The darts will be shipped immediately and the package tracked to insure delivery.

• You can play with them for 10 business days to see how they work for you. Throw them in league, use them in a tournament, practice with them, challenge your friends to a game, anything you want to do to try them out! • If you happen to lose them, destroy them or they get stolen then you have just bought them. • If you want to return them just send the loaners back by Priority Small Flat Rate. You will have a 3 day grace period for return delivery.

Let Us Know What You Want To Do:They’re the ones for you! We will send you a new set and pay the shipping cost via Priority Mail. You’ll have the dart that you like and can throw.

Need a different weight or style Simply check out a different set and we will either credit or charge your card for the difference in price and ship out the new loaner(s).

Just want to return them? Upon return of the Dart Library Darts, we immediately credit your card for the set price only.

PLEASE NOTE that customers wanting a coated Laserdart (Black or Gold Widow, Black or Golden Eagle, Black WidowMaker or Black KCs)will receive the silver model to try. The coating offers a slight tactile feel for additional grip. Coated sets will be sent when purchased.

Only uncoated Laserdarts are in the Dart Library. Want the coated model? Simply return the silver loaners and let us know. We will send you the new coated model you want and only charge you the additional cost for the coated model.

A late fee of $5 per day will be charged to the customer’s card for each day that the darts are late returning to our offices.
