It's my pleasure to share my 4 years of experience in this college. My happiest face is life were am I engineering college days. There are several
moments we have spent together having fun, teasing each other, sharing food, birthday celebration, long drives and many more. The NSS camp
in the second year was one of the best memories I will cherish throughout my life.I would like to thank our beloved HOD, all the lecturers and
also non teaching staff for mechanical department you have been my strength and support, all of my friends and lecturers have contributed to
my success in academics.Thank you for everything. I am thankful that I was destined to be a student at KSIT.
Change is an essential part of life, I am proud to say that my four years at KSIT resulted in a positive change in myself. The encouragement from my Lecturers and my seniors is something that helped me involve myself both in academic as well as cultural events. I thank Dr. K Rama Narasimha, Prof. Umashankar M and Prof. Balaji B for instilling leadership qualities in me. I am student who can proudly say that I got myself a new family by involving myself in team events such as EMANATION and the coolege fest Ananya. I tried to pass on the encouragement to mu juniors that i recived from my seniors.The memory of Bunking, last minute submission of assignments, falling in love, fights with friends, the attempts to copy in internals brings a smile on my face.The thought of missing all these wipes that smile way. I will miss my college life and I will miss myROYAL DEPARTMENT OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING , a department where lecturers acts as parents, Guide , and more importantly laughs with students as friends. I thank everyone in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the College Management for supporting us in thank everyone in the every endeavour taken by us.

My journey to achieve in my dreams began 3 years back at KSIT and I can proudly say that When I join KSIT through lateral entry I was a bit tensed and excited to start my engineering career, but the support of my HOD, my teachers and non teaching staff motivated me to learn and achieve more. The most memorable moments are the last minute studies, last minute submission, bunking classes, hanging out with friends, there all memories made my journey more fun. Today when I look back I’m glad that choosed KSIT and thank every person who took part in success of my engineering career. When a layman walks on street, I can only say “ Oh! What a car, Oh! What a building, Oh! What a plane.But only an engineer can say “I can make it better”.

In this endeavour of mine, K S INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY has played a pivotal role.During last four years,I was lucky to be in the new premises and learn in all facets of Mechanical engineering. The teaching and non teaching staff are kind enough to extend necessary support to all the students. My classmates have played a paramount role in making my Engineering life memorable. During last four years, a lot of constructive developments have taken place in the Institution. Huge amount of encouragement and appreciation are extended not only in studies but also in sports and cultural activities. The Laboratories are well equipped with the latest machineries. With the knowledge I have gained ,it will help me in boosting my future career. When I walked into my classroom on the first day of college, I didn't know what to expect. I thought KSIT would just be a passing phase of my life and couldn't wait to get it over with. However, over �me, I realised that this place has done more for me than I have given it credit for. From the stressful deadlines to giving me the best set of friends, I've enjoyed this place thoroughly. My experience at KSIT can be labelled as a constant struggle to meet expecta�ons while making the most out of my four years here. The staff has been suppor�ve and encouraging from the start and made me feel comfortable amidst all the general college pressure and given me various opportuni�es. This college has given me so many wonderful memories and will always have a special place in my heart. While every student will have a different view on how KSIT has shaped their lives in both good and bad ways, I am happy to say that this college has constantly been an amazing pla�orm for me to grow into the best version of myself. Thank you KSIT.
The beau�ful journey of my engineering started in KSIT. A�er 3 years of life at KSP. A day came when the search began for a good college to pursue engineering. The first thought that struck my mind was KSIT. The journey as an engineer began as a lateral entry it felt like home begin at ksit again the dear I had about being with students from Pu background was soon cleared by the warm welcome by them and the lectures. They were very much suppor�ve and mo�vated me in every step. The way thy guided me, every small doubt that was cleared ,every single subject that was dealt completely added up to a beau�ful learning experience, Hands-on.its a proud privileged moment to say that I have studied and graduated from CSE dept ,KSIT I can s�ll remember by 1st day at college ,I got to know abt my classmates, it's wonderful experience. It has been pleasure studying in KSIT and I will truly miss it .I learnt values, ethics and along with best educa�on. the day has come to thank Management , principal teaching staff and non teaching staff is CSE dept of ksit for making my college days memorable it be thankful to all
Alas!! Time really flies, when I look back, I wonder how soon four years have gone by! I s�ll remember very vividly the first day of stepping into this college and never knew how it is going to shape my future life. Well, it was a mixed feeling of nervousness & excitement at the same �me, at the thought of making new friends, new environment & didn't know what to expect!! was excited too, as I would be free to wear different dresses and not uniform...but later got to know about our lab dress(hahaha). Now, looking back, it gives me a feeling of contentment, gra�tude & proudness. This ins�tute has shaped me into a responsible ci�zen first and has given me confidence to face the compe��ve world and build my career.It was a great student life I had at KSIT where I made a lot of great friends, some humorous, some serious, some geeky and some lowbrow, but all in all there were some very joyous moments with them all and I must say the ins�tute has best of the facul�es as well. The fest �mes are the most unforge�able ones, the fun and laughter with juniors and seniors, healthy friendly compe��ons, studying a day before internals, the small-small fights and running behind girls, the rela�onship dramas, the house par�es, the one day trips to planning some great adventures, the night outs and the birthday par�es were all part of my great student life. I will be leaving the ins�tute with fond memories to cherish.

First I would like to thank the Department and editorial team for giving me this opportunity to share my experience. “Time works in mysterious ways. From my first day as a newcomer, excited about the new stage of my life, to the last few days here. Four years went by in the blink of an eye. I simply cannot count the number of memories that I've made, some bitter, some sweet. Strangers whom I met on the first day have turned out now to be my best mates. The adventures I've had with them will be some of the best memories I've ever made. All the contests that I participated in, helped me mould myself into a confident individual that I am today. From wanting to be participating as an eager newcomer to being a part of various committees with the support of my teachers, I learnt how to manage myself and others which made me more confident to face situations. The experience of working together as a team is something magical that cannot be put into words. I personally thank each and everyone who has been a source of strength supporting me during my difficult times. These four years have been special and, by looking back, I wouldn't want to change anything.”

It was my pride to work for IEEE Student branch along with WIE affinity group which inculcated team spirit. It was my honor to be first WIE Deputy Secretary in my 3 rd year of engineering and always had the support of my seniors who motivated me throughout my journey. During this period I represented IEEE KSIT SB in BC meet, 2018 organized by IEEE Bangalore Section, where it was my privilege to present the ppt on “Best Practices your Student Branch follows”. Later being WIE Chair in my final year was has enhanced my leadership skills, communication skills and also this high position was filled with the huge responsibility. It has given an opportunity to shape myself as a better person with the continuous guidance of lecturers. All the lecturers have been an epitome of strength and a great pillar of support system who have always shown me the right direction and path to walk on. A word of gratitude for the lecturers is not enough but always grateful to them. A special thanks to HOD mam who has been strict but yet the most caring. I would also like to thank Principal Sir who has always encouraged in all respects. KSIT has created a stage to explore and discover my potential in a true manner.
It was a very good moment that after my diploma I entered “MY KSIT” quietly to the 2 nd year. The very first day I met such wonderful classmates from ECE department. I could completely mingle with my class. The support given by the friends and teachers was awesome. It was very tough to cope up with the subjects as a diploma candidate. But my friends and teachers supported me a lot. I joined NSS and it was proud moment to serve for the country by being a part for 1 week camp with 50 different talented people and I learnt many things from them. I got the confidence and satisfaction through the NSS activities. Our HOD always encouraged us to participate in cultural activities and sports. I learnt leadership skills by organizing various events. I got a wonderful opportunity to represent EC department as core member during ANANYA 2019. I enjoyed the wonderful years spent at KSIT and learnt many valuable lessons which shaped me into a better person. As a teenager who was going to start a dreamcourse in a ‘not so’ dream college, my journey in KSIT started with a hint of disappointment, along with fear and excitement as to where would this journey lead me.Throughout my college days, I slowly realise that this ins�tu�on is indeed my happy place. KSIT provided me a warm environment, where I could explore my talents and opportuni�es, to help me cope up with my compe��ve spirit, to nurture my thoughts and ideas, to sculpt my tomorrow beau�fully.The lecturers has been highly qualified and professional for very encouraging and their construc�ve criicims help in my overall development. They were very suppor�ve and approachable and are one of the main reasons why my engineering curriculum and smooth. The well equipped laboratories help us explore way past our curriculum. Many events such as technical seminars, workshops, industrial visits etc. help me in widening my knowledge barriers on the trending technologies in the market.”Ananya”has a special place in my heart. A week-long cultural fest held during the even semesters is a major event, the inter college looks forward to it various interes�ng events spikes of the interest in par�cipa�on and almost everyone par�cipate in one or the other events. A week with minimal studies and hyped up extra curricular ac�vi�es is the “Icing on the cake”of this ins�tu�on. Our surrounding with well-balanced austerity and lenience help me in etching various memories, well academy s�ll being on track KSIT prove that a few blessings could be disguised as disappointment as well. I sincerely thank the ins�tu�on for everything it provided me which made me a be�er version of myself.
The journey in KSIT can we called bi�er sweet and memorable �me to cherish lifelong. First year meant by in ge�ng to know the people in class and trying to not get noted by teachers. Keeping up-to-date with the records and observa�ons seem to be too much of torture in engineering. We weren't used to ge�ng shouted upon and sent out of class. Learning the different basic subjects and for helped to widen our knowledge. It was a learning experience as we were interac�ng with people from different backgrounds and different mindsets. Ananya weekend department fest were get away from classes and refreshing for our minds. Sports day also help discover new talents and mo�vated others to be fear. Second and third year was worried about clearing all the subjects and labs.Revalua�on as always to rescue even if we could not clear the any subject marginally.Even though the subject warran�es e the new theories and concepts always kept as interested and engaged.The main advantage of the low strength of our department help us to interact be�er with the faculty and friends.Our telecom department may be known to be straight but that is what gives all the func�oning organised at official. There is no lazing auto escaping from work here. Perfec�on and �meliness are a must to survive here the non teaching staff also friendly and eager to help at all the �mes.In our final year placements and projects is proving to be very stressful but I am sure will have a sa�sfactory smile thinking about it we are gradua�ng.New responsibili�es and opportuni�es wait for a seat in the future we hope to use all we have learnt in this ins�tu�on and take back some nostalgic memories with us.

It's always want to talk about college days,now, who would not like a walk down the memory lane?It definitely is something that gets me excited! Although at start, it was challenging for me to manage my �me given the number of internal test, assignments all happening in quick�me, the teachers have been very friendly and coopera�ve over the years. Taking a lot of trouble in making us understanding the concepts, mo�va�ng and inspiring us at the same �me. Along with being a highly qualified, the experience that carried meant that they are understood what a student was going through in any given face of their life. Looking back at it now, I feel that was really important in making me a be�er person. A�ending various workshops and technical seminars provided me with curious informa�on regarding the trending technologies and inside the working of a company. This period was extremely well spent by learning, having fun and evolving.
