WEATHER CONDITIONS

Hayman Island is part of the Whitsunday IslandGroup which are situated near the Tropic ofCapricorn. The weather is tropical and pleasantmost of the time with the winter months from May to September experiencing average temperatures of between 17C and 25C and the summer monthsfrom October to April average temperaturesbetween 25C and 30C. The Whitsundays experiencespredominantly south-east winds, and during thesummer months it can be common to experienceshowers of rain intermittently throughout the day.All tours and charters run in most weatherconditions and are cancelled only when deemedunsafe by the captain or management team.
