ACROGEARS Portable ActuatorsThese actuators are portable devices, conceived, designed and approved for handling sluice gates, mobile locking systems along rivers or water flows, to control and regulate their flow amount. ACROGEARS Portable Actuators promote operator safety and improves OH&S through reducing operator fatigue. Highly repetitive actions and physical exertion is removed via the portable actuators gearbox.

With a battery-operated (APB45N and APB60N) and two engine-operated models (APS100N and APS140N) these actuators can help all operators active in water treatment and reclamation activities perform quick and safe interventions.

APB Series Portable Battery Operated ModelThe ACROGEARS APB Series is a modern portable battery operated system that coupled to manual operated units makes it possible to handle hydraulic penstock valves and sluice gates without any physical effort from the operators. It is recommended for emergency operations when no electrical power is available on electrified actuation systems. It can be used in any position (vertical or horizontal) and for a long period thanks to the 36V battery its equipped with.

APS Series Portable Engine Operated ModelThe top of the range is the APS Series, this is a high performance portable engine operated actuator that can handle average to large sluice gates under heavy conditions. A maximum torque of up to 147 Nm is achieved via the Honda GX35 4T petrol engine. The ACROGEARS APS Series offers the solution to all those problems related to sluice gates that cannot be electrically fed, and therefore represents a true alternative to electrical actuation systems.
