CJR Model Three Year Extension and Changes to Episode Definition and Pricing Proposed Rule Notice

We acknowledge that there are many questions surrounding the CJR Model Three Year Extension and Changes to Episode Definition and Pricing Proposed Rule that was published on February 24, 2020. At this time, we are unable to provide additional details and we refer you to the May 14, 2020 webinar on the CJR Model Three Year Extension and Changes to Episode Definition and Pricing that many participants found helpful in answering their questions about the proposed rule. Those webinar materials are available on CJR Connect as well as during today’s event in the Event Resources pod.

The Final Rule has not yet been published and therefore, we are unable to comment on the timeline at this time. An announcement will be sent out as soon as more information becomes available.

If you have additional questions about the proposed rule that are not answered in the resources above please submit them to [email protected] and the CMS CJR Model Team can provide an official answer.

CJR Connect Has Been Upgraded!

On July 27th, CJR Connect transitioned to a new site with an improved design, a simple file library, and more user - friendly navigation • The new sign - on page is: https://app.innovation.cms.gov/CMMIConnect/s/login/

• The new site operates best on standard web browsers produced since 2015, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge, rather than Internet Explorer

• All of the materials from this webinar are available on CJR Connect, in the “Adapting and Updating: Patient Education, Engagement, Notification, and Tracking 10 21 20” folder of the CJR Library

CJR Connect Upgrade: New Features & Design

Files: The library’s new structure transitions files into folders with strategically concise names for easy navigation.

Universal Search Bar: Users can use the universal search bar to search for anything on the site, including files, events, groups, people, articles, FAQs, topics, questions, and answers.

· My Groups: The Groups the user is currently a member of.

· CJR Groups: All active CJR Groups that users can join are located here.

Chatter Feed· Post Tab: Share updates, news, or

resources with other CJR participants.

· Question Tab: Start a discussion in the community. Questions and answers can now be “upvoted” to support the question.

CJR Connect Security Update

On November 2nd, a CJR Connect security update will take place for CMMI applications that will improve security and efficiency for users. • CMMI is introducing Single Sign On through OKTA Identify Management (OKTA IDM) • After the update CJR Connect users must use CMS credentials to access the Connect

site. If you do not have compatible CMS credentials then you will be prompted to register for CMS IDM credentials by the Connect site when you attempt to log in on November 2nd

• Users will also be required to complete a one - time Remote Identify Proofing (RIDP) authentication

• All current Connect users will receive an email from [email protected] in the coming days informing the user if they have an existing CMS credential or if they will need to create one through Connect
