What are some adjectives we know in Spanish?

• 3. In English the adjective usually comes before the noun.

• 4. In Spanish the adjective usually comes AFTER the noun it modifies.

• Example: The bad boy =The good hair. =

• 5. All nouns in Spanish have a gender and a number.

• 6. Your adjective must agree in gender and number with the noun it modifies.

• 7. If a noun is feminine (la silla) then the adjective must also be made feminine by changing the o to a.

• 8. If a noun is plural (los chicos) then the

adjective must be made plural by adding s or ES.

• 9. If the noun is plural and feminine, then the adjective MUST be plural and feminine.
