Where the frequency adverb is placed?
Example:
o He never buys expensive clothes.o She’s always late.o They usually spend the summer in the
mountains.o We frequently water our garden when it's hot.o You often dine at Peter's, don't you?
Frequency adverbs in English are always placed after the subject and before the main verb EXCEPT with the verb to be and modal verbs, in which the frequency adverb is placed after these.
ALSO, some of them as usually, sometimes and occasionally can go to the beginning of a sentence.Example:
o Sometimes I wake up at 3 pm.o Usually I listen to the news on the
radio o Occasionally visits me
Examples: o Suzanne doesn't usually get involved in
politics.
o It doesn't often snow here at Christmas.
o I don't ever download music from the Internet.
