Sub:- Prequalification for Empanelment of Contractors for Supplying and Installation of

Modular Furniture for Mumbai Zone IDBI Bank Ltd. proposes to provide Modular Furniture in its new bank branches and offices,

Renovation / Relocation of its Branches / Offices etc. at various centers in Mumbai Zone. The centers

would be located in different districts of Maharashtra as under:

The scope of work would involve supply and installation of modular furniture for various branches

and offices of IDBI Bank Ltd.

Bank would empanel contractors for who meets the Pre-qualification criteria. Contractors are

requested to furnish details regarding their Company, Organization Chart, Date of Incorporation,

Experience etc as indicated in the application format given in the web site. The application forms can be

downloaded from the IDBI website www.idbi.com from Notices – Tenders.

The application formats duly completed in all respects giving the aforesaid information is required

to be addressed to the officer as indicated below, and should be enclosed in a sealed cover super scribing

in the top left hand corner of the cover as "Application for Prequalification for Empanelment of

Contractors for Supply & Installation of Modular Furniture for Mumbai Zone " and dropped in

tender box kept for the purpose on or before May 17, 2017 by 3:00 pm. The sealed cover to be

addressed to Shri.R.Venkitachalam Iyer, Deputy General Manager (IMD), IDBI BANK Ltd.,

which is kept at said Office for this purpose. If the covers are sent by post, the vendor should ensure that

Terms and conditions of empanelment

A. The centers, located in the different districts of Mumbai Zone are as under:-

Bank would empanel contractors who meet the prequalification criteria. Tenders for supply &

installation of Modular Furniture would be invited from Pre-qualified suppliers. The works are proposed in

different districts, where Branches / Offices, located in Rural / Semi- urban / Urban / Metro centers and

only those contractors who are capable of carrying out works in any part of the above mentioned districts

including remote areas at the agreed rates, only need to submit their application.

List of similar works in progress, List of Technical Personnel, Organization Chart, Financial

Statements indicating Turnover, Net Profit, Bank Details etc. for the last three financial years and other

miscellaneous information are required to be furnished in the prescribed formats as given below.

Contractors may apply to this advertisement, subject to their meeting the criteria set forth here under:

B. Qualification / Eligibility Criteria

1. The bidder should be a parent manufacturer should have factory having all in house facilities and

machineries for its manufacturing. Location of factory with details of the machinery and QC

equipment should be submitted.

2. The location of the bidder’s factory / manufacturing facility / representative office should be within

the state of Maharashtra.

3. The bidder should have minimum average annual turnover of Rs.15.00 lakhs during the three

previous financial years ending March 31, 2017 (Copies of audited Balance sheet & P&L Account

statements duly certified by CA, Copy of IT Returns to be submitted are to be self-certified). (ie, Any

three of FY 13-14, FY 14-15, FY 15-16 & FY 16-17).

4. The solvency required for the bidder should be at least Rs.20 lakhs. The solvency certificate shall

from a nationalized or scheduled bank and issued within a period 12 months from the final date of

submission of Pre-Qualification bid.

5. The bidder should have executed successfully similar works during last 7 years ending March 31,

2017 which should be either of the following:-

(a) Three similar completed works (at least one of them should be in Central Govt./Central

Autonomous Bodies/ Central Public Sector Undertaking/ Financial Institutions/Banks) each

costing not less than Rs.20 lakhs

or

(b)Two similar completed works costing not less than Rs.25 lakhs

or

(c)One similar completed work costing not less than Rs.40 lakhs

Similar work means "Supply & Installation of Modular Furniture for Banks, Financial Institutions, Govt.

/ Semi Govt. Organizations, Corporate / Office establishments, etc."

6. Parent Manufacturer should submit their copies of PAN, VAT & Service Tax, Excise, Registration, ESI,

PF for staff, Quality Control Certifications etc.

C. Time of completion

The Modular furniture should be supplied installed at the respective site within 30 days from the

date of issue of work order. Once Work order is issued, the vendor has to plan accordingly for supply

considering the distance and time required for transportation.

D. Method of award of work

Tender would be invited, only from the pre-qualified contractors. A Pre-qualified contractor who

comes out successful in Tendering process will be entrusted the works as per terms of Tender. Award of

further works would be considered after verifying the successful completion of the works awarded.

E. Submission of Prequalification Documents

The application forms can be down loaded from the IDBI website www.idbi.com from Tenders-

Notices. The application formats duly completed in all respects with necessary attachments giving the

aforesaid information is required to be addressed to the officer as indicated in Page 1 and should be

enclosed in a sealed cover super scribing in the top left hand corner of the cover as "Application for

Prequalification for Empanelment of contractors for Supply & Installation of Modular

Furniture for Mumbai Zone" and dropped in tender box kept at the Office for the purpose on or

before May 17, 2017 by 3:00 pm.

F. Instructions to bidders

1. Each page of the application shall be signed by a person having necessary authority to do so.

2. If the space in the Performa is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be given in

separate sheets.

3. Applicants are required to furnish information against each item of the application. In case certain

item is not applicable, please write NA. Application containing incorrect and or inadequate

information is liable to be rejected.
