Kerrang • Kerrang is the largest music rock magazine in

the world and has covered every new bands and every old bands. Every time a new album comes out from a new band 9/10 chance they are going to advertise it usually by using them as there headline. By headlining them the band can gain from advertising of them selves as a band but also their new album and single. It also gives a chance for the fans to see the new digipack and find out their new single. It also gives fans a chance to read about other peoples reviews on the band and their opinion on it. Usually Kerrang will interview the band to give their opinions. Posters are usually found within the magazine of their headlining band as well as other bands with articles in the magazine.

Radio advertisement• Radio shows wont always play a specific genre of

music unless its Kerrang or classical radio station. Radio 1 and 2 will play what the people want to here but they will also play bands who have got a new single out telling fans that they have a new album out and usually what they think of it. Sometimes bands and other artist can be invited on to the show giving them selves a chance to advertise there own albums and sometimes even speak to fans calling. This can give a great opportunity as thousand of people will listen to the radio when driving to or from work or going on holiday. Though you will not be able to see the digipack like a magazine you will be able to listen and even be able to phone up and speak with the band unlike a magazine.

• Music on TV has become very big and now most radio stations have expanded into TV such as Kerrang, Scuzz, kiss and Heart. This allows bands and other artists to play their music videos. This can also allow them to star as a presenter like Kerrang do a lot. This can allow artists to become more known and expand their fan base. This also gives fans a chance to see new music videos and to check out other artists on the same channel.
