• Organise planning meeting for key members.

Zimbabwe
• Zimbabwe has a PHM working in and around Harare so activities are part of ongoing activities
• Carry out Assessment for the Right to Health and Healthcare (RTHHC)
•CWGH will be commemorating its 10th anniversary in June-July 2008. At this function the PHM national chapter and right to health and health care campaign (RTHHC) will be launched and Zimbabwe will also observe 30 years of Alma Ata.
• RTHHC Campaign will start in August 2008. It will include aspects of brain drain and specific activities to address issues identified from the RTHHC assessment. CWGH is currently working on building relationships with Zimbabweans living in the UK to address certain aspects of health.

• Intensify PHM activities in the Health Civil Society for East and Southern Africa (HCSESA) and the EQUINET
Benin
• Involved in RTHC Campaign since November 2006.• We hope to launch the assessment after Savar
course.The Phase I of the RTHCC will include inquiries, surveys, testimonies, research and analysis following the Assessment Guide. We will launch calls to people to involve them.
• As the first Francophone country involved in the Right to Health Care Campaign, Benin has the responsibility to succeed.
• We will now try to enlarge the committee and install local circles in the Benin 12 provinces. UN agencies, Human Right organizations, International NGO will be involved.
• The assessment include:• - a workshop to sensitize
NGO on the Guide using• - a peer review to
harmonize Government, NGO and UN reports because we have to produce and alternative report.
• a workshop to have the points of view of marginalized people
• - Interviews with local collectivities to take their points of view.
• - Publication of the “State of the Right to Health”.
• Launching of the “State of the Right to Health” • -Launching of the lobbying main strategies
including:• -Spots for radios and televisions and posters
on RTHC issues• -Award for the best media productions on
health for all• -Launching of an international day of the
Right To Health• -Recruitment of some famous artists as
goodwill ambassadors for PHM
• October 2008: National meetings on RTHC• - January 2009: Africa sub-regional meeting• - March 2009: Africa regional meeting• - July 2009: Publication of the “regional State
of the Right to Health”.• - August 2009: Launching of the “regional
State of the Right to Health” by each PHM circle.
