Lisa Strausfeld USA Lisa Strausfeld is a New York-based Information Architect, Data Visualisation Entrepreneur and, currently, Principal of her own studio, InformationArt. Most recently, Lisa spent 3 years at Bloomberg LP, first as Global Head of Data Visualisation and then as Creative Director of Bloomberg View. She built and led Bloomberg’s first Data Visualisation team, Bloomberg Visual Data, dedicated to creating a new genre of editorially driven interactive data products for Bloomberg’s consumer audience. Prior to Bloomberg, Lisa was a partner at Pentagram from 2002 to 2011 where she built a practice around digital information projects including the design of large-scale media installations, software prototypes and user interfaces, signage and websites.

Henrik Kubel Denmark Henrik Kubel, partner in London based Design and Typography office A2/SW/HK + A2-TYPE, graduated from Denmark’s Design School in Copenhagen in 1997 and received his MA in 2000 from Royal College of Art in London, where he was also senior visiting lecturer. Flavia Cocchi Switzerland Born in Lausanne Switzerland, in 1962, Flavia Cocchi is a graduate of Geneva’s School of Decorative Arts. She obtained further training, especially in Typography, thanks to a four-year stint at Werner Jeker’s design studio. From 1989 to 1991 Flavia worked for the institutional communication agency Anatome in Paris, collaborating on the Louvre Museum signage project and various projects on behalf of the Ministry of Culture. She left for Italy in 1995, where she worked at Benetton, under the artistic direction of Massimo Vignelli. From 1996 to 2004 she taught Graphic Design at the School of Applied Arts in Geneva. Flavia has been a member of AGI, Alliance Graphique Internationale, since 2012.

Dirk Vander Kooij Netherlands Dirk Vander Kooij is a Designer and Craftsman, passionate about sustainability. He is a new kind of Craftsman, one who embraces technology and machines, but not in the same way that industrial producers embraced their factory lines. He wants to design, create, improve and create again. An old 3D printer inspired Dirk’s graduation assignment at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, where he studied between 2005 and 2010. The main drawback the printer had was that it couldn’t produce large objects like furniture. Dirk was the very first person to ever succeed in printing larger objects. Using sustainable techniques he has developed award-winning products such as the Melting Pot table, created using his studio’s own unique waste.
