About UsOur Board

Our Vision

Agile Automations specialise in developing bespoke Robotic Process Automations (RPA) and Robotic Desktop Automations (RDA), putting automation at the very heart of your organisation’s infrastructure.

An organisation – where employees perform predictable, rule lead, highvolume, transactional processes and data manipulation – will boost their capabilities, increase accuracy, save money and time with RPA.

Our robotics act with outstanding efficiency and accuracy, 24 hours a day, while offering enhanced Risk & Governance controls, sometimes eliminating the need for human engagement altogether.

At Agile Automations, we do not use any robotics platforms, which allows us to offer a complete, yet flexible solution for our clients; each automation is bespoke, designed to their unique individual requirements, without any need to compromise. This results in an enhanced Return on Investment.

Just as we have seen robots revolutionise manufacturing – by increasing production rates, improving quality and cost savings – RPA is revolutionising the way we think about business processes.

Industry analysis | Case for robotic process automation

The case For robotics

The current, constantly changing business landscape requires adaptive business models; leading to an urgent need for a truly flexible infrastructure that can

deliver processes and system changes as quickly as the pace of business strategies that drive them.

What exactly does Robotic Process Automations do?

Robotic process automation (RPA) is the application of technology that allows a software application, a “robot” to capture and interpret existing applications for processing a transaction or process, manipulating data, triggering responses and communicating with other systems or applications.

It does this with outstanding efficiency, accuracy and all the while offering enhanced Risk & Governance controls; can operate 24hrs day, seven days a week; with some processes eliminating the need for human engagement altogether.

So, why should you be actively seeking a Robotics solution?

An organisation that use employees on a large scale to perform high-volume, highly transactional process functions with data can benefit from our Agile Robots to boost capabilities, save money and time, with increased levels of accuracy.

Page 7: Agile Automations Product Brochure 1.0.pdf · Agile Automations specialise in developing bespoke Robotic Process Automations (RPA) and Robotic Desktop Automations (RDA), putting automation

AGILE AUTOMATIONS LTD. 7

Just as we have seen robots revolutionise the manufacturing industry, by creating higher production rates, improved quality and cost savings, RPA is revolutionising the way we think about and administer business processes, workflow processes, remote infrastructure and back-office (administration) functions.

RPA provides dramatic improvements in accuracy and cycle time and increased productivity in transaction processing while it elevates the nature of work by removing people from dull, repetitive tasks, increases productivity and customer experience, both internally and externally.

The economic problem:

All societies and indeed businesses, face the economic problem, which is how to make the best use of limited, or scarce, resources to best meet the needs and wants of the population or indeed, business and its customers.

The economic problem exists because, although the needs and wants are endless, the resources available to satisfy these needs and wants are limited. But, what if Agile Automations could offer a solution, that would increase a business’s sources through automation?

What does this look like?

Well let’s look at it in terms of a board’s strategic direction and how they might look to allocate resources;

Page 8: Agile Automations Product Brochure 1.0.pdf · Agile Automations specialise in developing bespoke Robotic Process Automations (RPA) and Robotic Desktop Automations (RDA), putting automation

AGILE AUTOMATIONS LTD. 8

The Organisation wants to... However, for infrastructure...

... roll out new products faster than competitors

... system changes are either too ex-pensive or

unsupported/incompatible

... provide fantastic new service to customers

... will require six months to develop, test and implement

... to increase productivity using innovative ways

... the system integrity, security and governance is priority

Through embracing Robotic Process Automations, these types of common constraints experienced by the board, can be greatly reduced.

Why? Because Robotic Process Automations act as your robotic workforce, working on the core business processes, allowing your skilled teams to concentrate on developing the business and its customer proposition without core system changes.

Understanding Issues | Infrastructure Challenges

Infrastructure challenges

A business change can only be successfully implemented when all the supporting systems are in place.

Traditionally, there have been two main ways by which an organisation's infrastructure deals with a change:

1. The infrastructure and operations team develop a phased system upgrade.

2. A brand new, entirely re-engineered platform is created, with a projected launch date, often built alongside the existing infrastructure.

We need to analyse the challenges faced by a business in implementing these rapid changes:

1. Time

By the time system upgrade happens, the operations or market may lose the appetite for the change, or simply shift their priority to match the market.

Page 11: Agile Automations Product Brochure 1.0.pdf · Agile Automations specialise in developing bespoke Robotic Process Automations (RPA) and Robotic Desktop Automations (RDA), putting automation

AGILE AUTOMATIONS LTD. 11

U N D E R S T A N D I N G I S S U E S

2. Cost

The huge cost to implement the change on an infrastructure may profoundly offset the benefits earned by the change!

3. Risk

Changes to the tightly governed core layer of IT systems carries huge risk. Risk mitigation and regulatory compliance can drain out the last drop of the anticipated benefit of the change!

4. Maintenance

Now that you have that shiny new system, it will cost to the business, to ensure it remains fit for purpose.

5. Culture

Bringing the whole division up-to speed with the changes, leads to a plethora of often forgotten costs, including HR Learning and Development.

The result is, either the benefits are not realised as anticipated or the pay-back time (Return on investment) is massively delayed.

And before we blink, the market has changed! There is a new innovative competitor in the market with all of its operations online from day one! The competition is tough and the Operations require another change!

Controlled by Operations

Business operations define and control the process and work closely with Agile Automations during the initiation, development and implementation of the solutions.

The key three principles below allow operations to maintain full control over solutions:

1. Anticipate and plan for change

We anticipate the potential system/process changes in advance, to ensure that the robots are equipped with the agile functionality that changes faster than any other solutions

2. Machine learning and soft-coding

With unique machine learning and soft-coding capabilities, our robots learn and adapt to changing business environment, without the need to redevelop in future

3. Separation of logic from data

With modular, semantic code and separation of the decision parameters and API from the data modal allows us to change just a table of 'If this than that', and robots continue to perform as planned.

Types of Agile Automations

Desktop Automations (Attended solutions)

These automations run on a user's desktop and are triggered by the user. They perform the same task as the user would manually do however, with automation of tasks (even with batch-processing) these solutions tremendously increase the accuracy and efficiency; in effect a hybrid solution with robotics working on bulk tasks, with the user oversight.

User instructs the robot Robot checks the queue Robot performs task on

system

Robot gets output from system, updates the queue and confirms to the user

Server Automations (Unattended solutions)

These server based automations run of their own accord, in the background, based on a scheduled time or triggered by an event. You can have hundreds of robots periodically checking a work queue and picking up items as they are requested by multiple users, transferring these to separate work-streams.

Other applications include risk and compliance tools, where data can be screened in the background. These robots do not require any user-interactions and act independently of the user.

Multiple users and customers submit work-requests

Agile Desktop Automations

Our desktop automations are run on the end-user's computer, and usually triggered by user-actions.

For example, a user clicks on a 'Run' button and the automation extracts data from multiple systems, processes it and publishes it onto the target system; an efficient method of integrating several legacy systems, that would usually require several sets of independent searches by the user.

With our industry leading innovative software interfaces, we can connect and automate most desktop systems. This includes but not limited to the following:

All Office Applications

Major Data Stores

All online publications

Agile Remote Automations

Our remote automations work the same as the desktop applications, however they are usually implemented where a user's input is not required.

These automations can be scheduled to run in the background eliminating the need to monitor, start or stop them.

With an abundance of data to process in modern business infrastructures, operations teams often need to run processes in the background. These automations fit the suit perfectly in these cases.

Here are the few examples of the successful implementations.

Regular | Scheduled | Automatic Data Processing & Transfer

Scheduled QA checks including consistency & accuracy and reporting

Constant data monitoring on sites like Google or London Stock Exchange

Proof of Concept with

Agile AutomationsWe speak with many clients who are keen to implement RPA solutions

within their organisations, however not sure where to begin, due to resource, experience or technical limitations.

We find that the best way to really show the power of automations within your own organisation, is to try it! We want to help. Maybe you

are completely new to RPA or you have tried some of the RPA solutions available in the market before, without being able to gain any real

traction. It may even have been in your strategy to implement it in future to make your business more efficient and automated.

A Proof of Concept can be undertaken, quickly and affectively as a standalone product; such as providing a solution to a unique, time critical

requirement or ran in test envirnoment, external of core infrastructure.

We work closely with you, in a strategic partnership, to really identify a key area, a standalone problem, for the organisation and show how Agile

Automations can take your automations to the next level.
