• In the midst of the ecological conditions
climate occupies a conspicuous and very
peculiar place.
• With the advance of agriculture so has
progressed the recognition of the fact that
weather and climate dictate the success of
failure of the planting/sowing season

Analysis of the climatic changes and the
agricultural ecology
By looking at the meteorological data andthe climatic analysis from the ecologicalperspective one is to notice that: :
• There is a marked insufficiency of measuringstations on the meteorological indicators
• The establishment of the measuring stationsdoes not respond well to the agricultural interestand does not reflect upon the diversity of theterrain of the country.

What is requested?
• It is requested that a network consisting of
roughly 50-60 stations be established based on
the areas of agricultural interest;.
• The climatic data should be published in anautomated manner;
• These data serve as a tool to getting to know
and studying the climate and help monitor and
prevent the disease to plants;

Involvement of extension service
• Extension services should use far better the scientific
data concerning the weather forecasting and the
climatic changes.
• These products could be upgraded if GIS is beingused, along with the communication technologies,
the weather forecasting for specific areas etc;
• For all of the above there is a need for training on
extensions services and farmers alike;

Conclusions
• The agro-meteorological services should be improved in orderto respond to risks and climate uncertainties;
• An advanced system of data management.
• Suitable technologies ( GIS and communication technologies)
along with the use of agro-meteorological indicators.• Accurate weather forecasting and climate for agriculture;
• Information dissemination system suitable for farmers.
