Some people want it to happen, some wish it

would happen, others make it happen.

Michael Jordan

Taking part in «Go Volunteer» this summer with AIESEC

Australia gives you the unique opportunity to volunteer in a

new and exciting country, with a global network of young

people to support you along the way.

AIESEC is the world´s largest youth-led organisation,

meaning your international experience will be facilitated by

fellow students or recent graduates across the world.

As a non-for-profit, AIESEC keep its cost as low as possible

to simply remain sustainable as organisation. AIESEC, and

the impact it has, is recognised globally by world-leading

employers such as PwC, Deutsche Post DHL and UBS.

AIESEC provides a global support network both in Australia

and the hosting country.

A volunteer abroad experience can be an invaluable part of

your personal and professional development. By taking

yourself out of your comfort zone, both in the nature of

the enviroment you will be living and project you will be

undertaking, this summer will have a genuine impact on you.

Furthermore, such an experience is a well sought-after

addition to your CV, as well as potential being an important

step into shaping what you are looking to do for the rest of

your life.

Your journey starts NOW…

“I can now count to 10 in about 11 different languages. In Russian, I can

count to 40. I can say "How are you?", and reply, in about 14 different

languages.

And I have my EP family, from America, Egypt, Russia, and India. My

favourite AIESEC moment, was when my EP family organised a surprise

for my birthday - brought a cake to my room, and I ate a cake for the

first time without any forks, napkins, or plates. That night, I had "Happy

Birthday" sang to me in 11 different languages. Nothing, can buy that

experience. Nothing will ever replace that experience. I left for Europe

alone, and I returned with a family and friends and languages and

stories from all over the world. And it was all thanks to AIESEC.”

“ I worked in Arts Education in the Education department of Himalaya Museum in

China. This involved organizing and participating in workshops with children

between ages 9-12. The workshops were focused on educating and promoting

potential young artists. I was motivated to go on a second exchange because I

saw an AIESEC exchange as the ideal vehicle to develop myself, connect with

locals in a given destination in a meaningful manner. My 2nd exchange to

Bulgaria was a good experience. It was an adventure into a totally different

environment. My program involved teaching school children from high school

years about the Millennium Development Goals.”

Exchange Participant: Swapnil Mindhe

First Exchange: Explore China, Mainland of China

Second Exchange: Make it Possible, Bulgaria
