AIESEC

AIESEC, the world’s largest

student-run organization, is the

international platform for young

people to explore and develop their

leadership potential for them to have a

positive impact in society.

AIESEC in Bahrain provides its members with an integrated development experience comprised of leadership opportunities, international internships and participation in a global learning environment.

The National team in Bahrain is a 4 full-time team responsible for coordinating activities such as: External Events and Seminars, Government and Board of Directors relations, Talent Sourcing and Strategic Management and program execution.

A Local Chapter is based out of a university (or a group of

nearby universities) and its members work voluntarily, and they are responsible for the functional operations of AIESEC: The leadership and internship programs, as well as projects based on student mobility.

We offer around 45 internships and 30 leadership experiences

per year to our members and program participants.

Conference 2011

AIESEC’s Gulf Conference is the

biggest event for youth in the region

and considered as a unique

opportunity where university

AIESEC in Bahrain organized the 5th

for the Gulf. More than 120 members of 4 GCC countries and other

countries abroad attended the 3 days to set strategic plans and

Leadership Track:

This track is for delegates that are either leading a team, functionality or leading a project,

as they need more specific and advanced knowledge and skills that will associate them in

leading what they do and fulfilling the goals.

1. Leaders reflect on their journey and relate to how it is beneficial to them in their

personal life and professional life.

2. As the journey of a leader is difficult and it goes through a lot of pressure and

demotivation, Leaders learned how to motivate themselves and the delegates they

are leading.

3. Leaders came across a very important aspect, which is: problem solving. They

were introduced to the topic and knew the importance of this topic and how

relevant it is. Those happened by going through a small workshop and them

started sharing their problems with each other and learn from each other’s

problems.
