5. Sew (2) CDBD sets together as shown. Repeat with remaining set.

6. Flipping one set, sew (2) sets together as shown.

7. Sew (1) AB corner set to each side of pinwheel block. Square to 12 ½".

8. Repeat steps 3-7 to make (4) grey pinwheel blocks.

QUILT ASSEMBLY Refer to quilt diagram for placement10. Layout blocks in columns as follows –Column 1 - Grey pinwheel, red dot pinwheel, green pinwheel, red geo pinwheel, grey pinwheel, green pinwheel.Column 2 - Green pinwheel, red geo pinwheel, red dot pinwheel, grey pinwheel, green pinwheel, red dot pinwheel.Column 3 - Red dot pinwheel, green pinwheel, grey pinwheel, red dot pinwheel, green pinwheel, red geo pinwheel.Sew blocks together to make columns.

*Measure length of pieced column to ensure vertical strips cutting size. Our strips measured 72 ½" long.11. Sew strips together in this order:(1) F 1 ¾" (1) A 1 ¾" (1) I 2 7/8” (1) H 1 ¾" Repeat to make (4) strip columns.

15. Sew strip columns and pieced columns as shown.

BORDER ASSEMBLYMeasure width and length of quilt top to ensure border cutting sizes. Below are our sizes. 12. Sew (1) G 1 ½" x 72 ½" strip to right and left of quilt top, and (1) G 1 ½" x 62” strip to top and bottom.

FINISHING Cut batting and backing 3" larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind as usual.

BLOCK ASSEMBLY: 1. Place (1) A 4 ¼" square RST with (1) B 4 ¼" square, sew ¼" seam around all four sides of squares. Sub cut sewn squares diagonally twice to make (4) Half Triangle Squares (HTS). Square to 2 5/8". Repeat 3 times to make a total of (16) AB – HTS.

2. Following same process as step 1, use 4 ¼" squares to make the following:

(8) C and (8) D to make (32) CD – HTS(4) B and (4) D to make (16) BD –HTS (6) A and (6) E to make (24) AE – HTS(6) D and (6) E to make (24) DE – HTS (3) A and (3) H to make (12) AH – HTS(12) D and (12) F to make (48) DF – HTS (11) G and (11) I to make (44) GI – HTS (5) A and (5) G to make (20) AG – HTS (13) H and (13) I to make (52) GI – HTS

3. Sew (1) A 2 5/8" square to left side of (1) AB HTS. Sew (1) A side triangle to each end of A/AB set. Sew (1) A corner triangle to top. Repeat to make total of (4) AB corner sets.

4. With C triangle to C triangle, sew (2) CD HTS sets together. With B square to B triangle, sew (1) B 2 5/8" square to the left of (1) BD HTS. Sew CDCD set to top of BBD set. Repeat to make a total of (4) CDBD sets.
