ACHS is the first step toward the dream.ACHS plays a central role in the dream of learning!
Step 01Providing opportunities for everyone who desires secondary education
Step 02Easy and convenient education for everyone
Step 03ACHS is a leading lifelong learning society
Air and Correspondence High Schoolscyber.hs.kr
The Air and Correspondence High School (ACHS) was established in 1974 to help meet the needs of students who could not pursue a high school education for a variety of reasons. KEDI has been sup-porting the efforts of ACHS, striving to provide the educationally disadvantaged with valuable opportunities to complete their high school education. At the same time, the Cyber educational system has been adopted, normalized, and enhanced through the radio broadcasting lecture system, which has been in use for over the past thirty years. The Cyber educational system enables students to dream of the future and works as a stepping stone to inspire hope.
Our students have their dreams of learning come true, experience the cherished memories of high school that last a lifetime, and develop new relationships with their teachers and class-mates. Accordingly, 210,000 alumni of ACHS are now working in a variety of professional fields and constantly developing their careers.KEDI is making an effort to improve the effectiveness of management in student affairs through innovative systems, including an operation system and a teaching-learning system. Using a di-verse collection of learning media in u-learning environments, we will continue to lead the edu-cational revolution in Korea.
KEDI will provide educationally disadvantaged people with practical alternatives such as broad-ening the range of educational benefits, establishing more air and correspondence schools to promote flexible educational opportunities, and applying a credit bank system which will link to various activities outside of school. At the same time, KEDI also strives to develop and operate a learner-centered personalized curriculum. KEDI supports ubiquitous learning environments, in which learners are able access knowledge at any time and location through various multimedia learning mediums such as PC, smartphone, and IPTV. KEDI will ensure that ACHS will help stu-dents realize the maximum potential of their dreams. Thank you for your interest in ACHS.
