Air Capital Corvette Club Newsletter Page 1 Volume 51 - Issue 1 January, 2017 Message from the New Prez . . . Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all! Hope you enjoyed your holidays and were able to spend time with your family and friends. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We want to thank Dale Brotton for being the auctioneer and Veronica Brubaker for being his helper for our annual Christmas party. We had a great turnout and filled the hall. Thank you to Betty Henderson for providing the beautiful Christmas decorations. On behalf of the club membership, we also say thank you to everyone who came out early to set up for the event, to everyone that brought yummy food and those who stuck around to clean up. The club collected $400 from the white elephant gift exchange that was donated to the Lords Dinner an ACCC tradition. The Lords Dinner does a tremendous job providing nutritious hot meals to anyone in our community who walks through their doors. We hope this donation will help continue the good work their organization provides. This was a perfect way to end the holiday season and a great start to the new year. I want to thank the E-board for having confidence in me and electing me your new President. Glen Bailey did an amazing job and his shoes will be hard to fill. I also want to welcome our new treasurer Jay Shore and our new events chairman Victor Cooper to the board. On behalf of the 2016 E-Board, we would like to thank Brad Ketchersid and Glen Bailey for their commitment for the past couple years. We can’t forget to thank Kent Michael for his continued support and all that he does behind the scenes...monthly newsletter, website updates, historian and photos of our events. Our first meeting for the new year is on January 4th. If you haven’t had a chance to pay your membership dues yet, this is a perfect time to take care of it. (Continued on Page 2)
