Maximize your equipment performance by choosing our AirStar Compressors. The company that brought you dry air

technology and the first oil-free dental air compressor offers you another industry first: Membrane Drying

Technology. This new and innovative patented Membrane Dryer System from Air Techniques, Inc. gives

you the driest possible compressed air at all times. On demand. With no interruptions.

AirStar Compressors are custom-designed and built specially for dental applications for consistent, reliable dry air

performance. Dry air protects both instruments and equipment from oxidation that can cause premature

failure. It eliminates the damp conditions that promote bacterial growth and potential for infection.

Air Techniques manufactures most parts in our New York headquarters - including the compressor heads, for

day-after-day reliability. We proudly stand behind our engineered products! For this reason, our compressors

come with a five year limited, extended warranty. ■ ■

Dental suction requires a delicate balance. First and foremost, you need enough vacuum power to do the

job thoroughly, keeping the operating field clear and controlling overspray. But you

don’t want so much vacuum suction that it could potentially harm delicate tissues.

Striking this balance expertly, VacStar Vacuum Systems have been the dentists’ choice

since 1986. But that’s not the only reason. VacStar systems use water, not

oil, as the sealing fluid. Because they use no oil, they eliminate all the

maintenance and disposal issues — and potential problems, like leaks and

aerosols — that oil creates. They’re also built with precision-machined

components of the highest quality. For example, the base and impeller

are machined from corrosion-resistant naval bronze. So VacStar

Vacuum Systems deliver consistently high performance and long

service life. Our VacStar units come with a five year limited, extended warranty. ■ ■

The suction system you choose for your office is as important as your compressor selection. Dental

suction must perform two essential tasks: keep the operating field clear and control the

infectious cloud of overspray… both without traumatizing the patient.

Why choose an STS Dry Vacuum System? The answer is simple: to eliminate water

use and conserve energy while providing a powerful vacuum. If you’re

currently using a traditional vacuum that uses water, you already know

that water costs add to your overhead. Eliminating water consumption

automatically helps to boost your bottom line... while being

environmentally responsible.

When you choose an STS Dry Vacuum System, you not only lose the water, you lose

the oil, too. So the mess, maintenance and disposal headaches associated with

oil disappear. In fact, there’s virtually no maintenance at all. Instead, you get significant

long-term cost savings and real energy efficiency — thanks to our exclusive,

high-performance, two-stage STS motor. Our STS units come with a five year limited,

extended warranty. ■ ■

Be part of the solution. The Guardian™Amalgam Collector.

Mercury in our water supply is a serious problem. And waste amalgam (which

contains about 50% mercury) is a major source of mercury in our

wastewater. Toxic in any form, mercury can have wide-ranging effects

on a variety of bodily systems.

As awareness increases, more and more states and municipalities are mandating

that dental offices install amalgam collection devices. Along with this

increase in legislation, a commensurate increase in enforcement is

sure to follow.

The Guardian Amalgam Collector is the simple solution.

• Turnkey solution that eliminates over 99% of the amalgam in wastewater,

without affecting suction pressure.

• Can be easily installed into existing STS configurations with little or no

plumbing changes.

• Requires no electricity and has no moving parts.

• Exceeds ISO 11143 standards for amalgam separation with any wet or

dry suction system.

• Guardian starter kit includes everything needed to safely separate and

collect waste amalgam for up to two years, depending on the size of

your practice.

• When the Collector is returned to the listed recycler, creating a verifiable

record of safe disposal, you pay no recycling fees. ■ ■

NEW: CleanShield™ Washout System. Simplifies rinsing and prevents debris.

CleanShield Washout SystemPN 54580

Vacuum Equalizer™.Pump up efficiency and save.

The CleanShield controller eliminates the need to rinse the CAS tank manually. The rinse cycle is

automatically activated each time the vacuum pump is turned off, sending water to the spray nozzle

in the tank. This will help prevent debris from building up on the CAS tank sidewalls, float and

check valve.

• Controller box is wall mounted next to CAS tank and powers 24v water solenoid connected to tank

and water supply.

• Controller power can be manually activated or turned off with remote panel switch; LED changes from

green to yellow when the unit is activated.

• The unit will turn on master water control valve if building water supply is inadvertently turned off

before rinse cycle starts.

• The unit is designed to work with Air Techniques Vacuum Equalizer.

• 12 Month warranty ■ ■

Does your practice use more than one vacuum pump? If your system’s vacuum demand isn’t being

monitored, you’re using your pumps inefficiently. That adds unnecessary expense and creates

needless wear and tear on your vacuum system- because pumps are running when you don’t really

need them. The vacuum equalizer will monitor vacuum demand throughout the day, automatically

switching pumps, extending the service life of your vacuum pumps.

• Boost vacuum pump efficiency.

• An excellent solution for offices with tow or more pumps.

• Easy to install.

• Save money and extend pump life.

• Use with VacStar models 50, 50H, 80, 80H and STS models 6 and higher. (As well as other vacuum

pumps with 24v switching.)

• 24 Month warranty. ■ ■Vacuum EqualizerPN 56200

Clean Stream™. Improve performance, convenience and safety.

CleanStream EvacuationSystem CleanerPN 57850

CleanStream DispenserPN 57665

CleanStream Evacuation System Cleaner offers you a comprehensive solution to maintain your vacuum

system for prolonged life and uninterrupted work flow without harming the environment.

Organic and inorganic debris (blood, saliva, amalgam, etc.) in the tubing of evacuation systems

promote the growth of disease causing bacteria, offensive oders and can even result in system

failures. Every dental vacuum system should be regularly cleaned to maintain peak performance.

CleanStream offers you a reliable and effective solution to keep your vacuum system running

smoothly.

• Non-corrosive, non-acidic and completely biodegradable.

• Unlike cleaners containing bleach (unbound chlorine), CleanStream will not leach mercury from

waste amalgam.

• Reliably removes and prevents debris from settling on the evacuation lines.

• Special non-foaming agents protect and extend the life of your vacuum pump.

• The concentrate is packaged in convenient two-liter bottles. Mix with water to make enough

solution for two operatories.

• Use CleanStream with the CleanStream Dispenser — just fill the Dispenser, attach the hoses and

walk away. The Dispenser automatically releases the CleanStream solution through the suction

system, cleaning the entire surface of the tube - without putting added stress on the vacuum pump.

• Durably constructed, the Dispenser System is unaffected by chemical and mechanical influences.

• Safe to use with all types of vacuum systems and amalgam collectors. ■ ■
