Accomplishments – Nov. 2011- Jan. 2012

• Groundbreaking Ceremony held

• Construction on US1/FEC Structures (Design/Build) Project

commenced

• Quality Assurance Materials Testing selection and final ranking of

selected firm approved by the Board

• Site Preparation (Earthwork) Project advertised

• Lancaster Steel Building demolished

• Port Everglades ID office vacated and ready for demolition

Accomplishments –Nov. 2011- Jan. 2012

Voluntary Residential Sound Insulation Program

• 80 Homeowners volunteered to be part of the Program

• BCAD met with Homeowners in late January

Noise Mitigation Plan

• Plan submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

• Aviation Director and City of Dania Beach met with FAA in Atlanta

Eastern portion expansion
