$atsumi is a fighter who, accompanied 4y his two childhood friends, sets off to the Capital in search of a way to

make money to assist his poverty:stricken village. After 4eing separated from his friends, $atsumi not only fails to

enlist in the army, 4ut is swindled out of all his money. e is then taken in 4y a no4le family who offer him help, 4ut intend to torture and kill him, ust like they did with his friends and do8ens of other people. $atsumi is rescued

Wild unt heavily a4uses its authority 4y killing innocent civilians for fun, making enemies of 4oth the =aegarsand )ight aid. After a confrontation 4etween Wild unt and the =aegers, with casualties from 4oth sides, 'sdeat

is a4le to 4lackmail onest into dis4anding the rest of Wild unt while %yura is killed 4y 1u44ock after he

captures 4oth him and $atsumi. 1u44ock is killed while attempting to escape, and $atsumi is sentenced to a pu4lice(ecution, 4ut the remaining mem4ers of )ight aid attack the e(ecution site to rescue him.
