DESCRIPTION
Discussion of criteria for evaluating the sustainability of new development at Alameda Point. Three general categories of Environment, Community, and Economics were described. Participants were asked to indicate how much weight to place on various components of these categories such as: Transport; Site and Landscape; Waste; Food; Energy; Housiing and Employment; and Water. Input from the community will help determine how Alameda defines sustainability for new development at Alameda Point. The workshop was moderated by the city's consultant firm ARUP of San Francisco.TRANSCRIPT
