INSTALLATION OF ALCATEL MICROWAVE

1320CRAFT TERMINAL


De- activate the Windows Firewall

Ensure that the name of CD is REGAWY_2.02

Software should auto initialize

STEPS BEFORE INSTALLATION


Select CT products installation guided as the following screen appears and press “NEXT”

AUTO INITIALIZE WINDOW WILL APPEAR


The following screen will be appeared, select “JRE V1.4.1” and “Alcatel lower layer Manager V3.4.0” only and press “Next”

SELECT 1ST & 2ND OPTIONS


CLICK “NEXT”


CHECK “CONFIGURE LOWER LAYERS” &CLICK “FINISH”


1 - Insert 12 Zero’s in System Identifier Window

2 - Select “Serial Port”

3 - Select Appropriate COM

Port

4 - Select “Port Speed” as “Default”

5 - Click “OK”

ENTER FOLLOWING CONFIGURATIONS & CLICK “NEXT”


CLICK “YES”


You can also configure the Lower Layer by Double Clicking the “Alcatel Lower

Layers”

“CONTROL PANEL” VIEW CHANGED


INSTALLATION OF ALCATEL LOWER LAYER

MANAGER


Click “Add Hardware”

OPEN “CONTROL PANEL” & CLICK “ADD HARDWARE”


CLICK “NEXT”


WINDOWS WILL SEARCH FOR NEW HARDWARE


SELECT 1ST OPTION & CLICK “NEXT”


SELECT “ADD A NEW HARDWARE” & CLICK “NEXT”


SELECT 2ND OPTION & CLICK “NEXT”


SELECT “NETWORK ADAPTERS” & CLICK “NEXT”


CLICK “HAVE DISK”


SELECT APPROPRIATE DRIVERS & CLICK “OK”


“ALCATEL VIRTUAL NETWORK CARD for LOWER LAYERS” WILL BE APPEARED CLICK “NEXT”


CLICK “NEXT”


WINDOWS LOGO TEST


CLICK “FINISH”


New LAN Connection will be established. Double click the LAN

Connection to configure.

OPEN “LAN CONNECTION”


Uncheck all other options except

“Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)”

SELECT “INTERNET PROTOCOL (TCP/IP)” & CLICK “OK”


ENTER FOLLOWING CONFIGURATIONS & CLICK “OK”

Select 2nd Option i.e “Use the following IP address”

Enter the following IP Address and Subnet Mask

Select “Advanced”


2 - Select “Disable NetBIOS

over TCP/IP”

1 - Select the “WINS” Tab

APPLY FOLLOWING SETTINGS & CLICK “OK”


“Alcatel Lower Layer Manager” Has Been Successfully Installed.Now follow the following path, if the CD does not auto play, to run the installation of remaining software:

Matersetup-REG_9400AWY Disk 1 Setup.exe


Select “CT products Automatic Installation” as the following screen appears and click next


CLICK “NEXT”


Go to control panel → add and remove program and so remove the component as the following orders :

CT–NE–ConfUpd (if present)

ALCATEL JUSM Help On Line (for all versions you like to remove)

ALCATEL SW Package REG.9400AWY (for all versions you like to remove)

ALCATEL Radio Common JUSM (for all versions you like to remove)

ALCATEL Q3CT–K–ADD–ONvX.Y.Z (1320CT)

ALCATEL SNMPCT–K–ADD–ONvX.Y.Z (1320CT)

ALCATEL HOLCT–K–ADD–ONvX.Y.Z (1320CT)

ALCATEL CT–KvX.Y.Z (1320CT)

Alcatel Lower Layers Manager & Tiny Tools

Java 2 Runtime Environment. SE vX.Y.Z_KJ

And then restart your laptop.

Set “Frequency and ATPC&MTPC”


Set local-end IP

Far-end IP (Must be 1 up or down from local-end)


NMS RF Enable and click next


NMS V11 Disable and Next


NMS 0703 Disable and next
