Your Itinerary

You arrive at Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) and meet and greet your fellow adventurers. Your nine day transformative adventure begins as you travel inland to the rainforest town of Fortuna, under the shadow of the magnificent Arenal Volcano.

Here you will explore the stunning water-falls, bask in the hot springs, hike the nature trails, and be guided by a local chef in the art of Tico cooking at her family home. For-tuna will give you an opportunity to experi-ence the beauty of nature’s playground as

you horseback ride to the volcano, take a river safari in search of toucans and mon-keys, rappel down waterfalls, or rope swing at the local swimming hole.

The power of the rainforest provides a per-fect backdrop as we step into the work of the South and begin to shed our old stories of who we are. In the shadow of this ancient volcano we will transition into the West and explore our own shadows, symbolically bringing to death those parts of ourselves that no longer serve us.

The Cloud Forest of MonteverdeMarch 13 - 15 | The North

Our adventure will then lead us into the majestic mountains of Cordillera de Tilarán, the Continental Divide of Costa Rica and the gateway into the mysteries of the Mon-teverde Cloud Forest. Known as the jewel in the crown of cloud forest reserves, this ecotourism destination is considered one of the top seven natural wonders of Costa Rica.

As we explore the breathtaking flora and fauna through the hovering mists, you feel as though you are experiencing a heaven! Float through the clouds as you zipline through the treetops. Explore the quaint town of Santa Elena and its unique shops. Dine in its famous tree house restaurant. This magical

village is sure to work its charms on you!

This mystical locale will hold sacred space for us to step into the shamanic journey of the North. It is here that we will experi-ence the Rite of the Rainbow Ceremony. As we guide you to the heavens of the upper world you will connect with your luminous “rainbow” ancestors. These Ancient Ones that have walked before you will assist you in claiming your sacred gifts as gay men and women that you bring to the world. During this sacred ceremony you will receive the energetic transmission of the Rites of the Rainbow that will plant the seeds to grow your unique gifts.

Our final stop is the Pacific coast and the pristine beaches of Nicoya Pennisula. Mont-ezuma is known for its healing vibration and is home to some of the healthiest people on earth. Its natural beauty and simplistic life-style provides the perfect place to relax and reflect.

Indulge in the beauty of the tropical orchids and exotic butterflies at our beachfront bun-galows. Wake to Capuchin monkeys playing

Kim Mlinarik, LCPC, founded Alchemy Adventures four years ago. After many years of wandering the world on five different continents, she was inspired to share the transformative power of travel with others. Now her greatest passion is guiding others on international adventures focused on personal growth and transformation. She is gifted in guiding her clients in using the inspiration of the experience as a catalyst to step into their dreams and discover the common threads that connect us all. Kim has a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and has been practicing therapy and transformational coaching over the past 20 years. She has studied different forms of indigenous healing for the past ten years and is a shamanic energy medicine practitioner. Kim is passionate about empowering individuals to step into their authentic selves and experience the joy and playfulness in everyday life.

Kim Mlinarik, LCPC

Eric has a BA in English Education. He has worked in alternative, experiential, and therapeutic education for over ten years as a teacher, counselor, and field guide. His current passions are alpine climbing, trail running, mountain biking, photography, music, and travel. With passport stamps from thirteen countries he has found that the beauty of travel is experiencing new tastes and smells, discovering what connects each of us to one another, and being open to what may come along the journey. For three and a half years Eric guided treks in the Oregon wilderness and he has guided treks in Europe and Costa Rica. He and a friend once rode bicycles from Sandpoint, Idaho to Phoenix, Arizona to celebrate Thanksgiving. Quick to smile and count his blessings, he approaches life with inquisitiveness and spontaneity.

Eric Fulgenzi

Greg is a Shamanic Practitioner (Four Winds Certified), Perceptual Life Coach, (IFC Certified) and a Sound Therapist (SMI Certified). Greg has spent the last four years training and building a healing practice (gregrills.com) to offer a multi-disciplinary approach to healing. He has many passions: travel, the-ater, music, opera, yoga, gardening, cooking and great conversations about life consciousness and possibility. He has traveled extensively throughout the world, focusing and learning about indigenous cultures. He loves nothing more than seeing and experiencing the world through the shamanic lens of global consciousness, where we all realize that we are connected and can use our lives to contribute to the greater good.
