All Day Learning Centers

We have an exciting summer planned for your camper! Our program is action-packed with trips,

activities, and visitors! Our summer camp offers theme-based activities, group games, sports,

hands-on-science projects, arts and crafts, music, and much more. We incorporate team building

activities for all age groups. In addition our facilities are air-conditioned so campers can experience

fun activities while escaping the heat of the hot summer days. Flexible scheduling allows parents to

sign-up their camper for any number of weeks or for the whole summer!

Our Academic Program is designed to “bridge the gap” between the end of the school year, and the start of the next. We provide fun, engaging activities to prevent learning loss that can take place over the summer break. All summer learning activities are designed specifically with each grade level in mind. Our Program provides various learning activities and practice materials in math and literacy to keep skills sharp. We encourage learning through small groups which allows for individualized instruction.

Green Thumb ClubIt’s summer in the garden which means a return to digging in the dirt! Our Green Thumb Club will explore the tools needed to get our garden planted and producing fresh veggies. We’ll dig, plant, and harvest tasty vegetables grown in our summer garden!

Sensational ScienceWe will offer Campers an opportunity to learn about topics such as chemistry, weather, and space by participating in fun, hands-on activities, experiments, and crafts. The science program will be offered daily for one hour. This incredible class is included in our camp program.

Young AuthorsCampers will have an opportunity to practice their reading and writing skills while writing their own story to share. Studies have proven that the connection between reading and writing improves both skill sets. Efforts will be made over the summer to help campers sustain reading skills, practice reading, and read for enjoyment. Our bridging activities will also include vocabulary review, including the use of sight words. Structured vocabulary teaching will help improve reading comprehension.

Weather permitting, campers will spend a

lot of time outside. Our playgrounds

include climbers, sandboxes, tether ball, a

soccer field, and other climbing equipment

to engage in healthy active play. Experts

recommend that children should have at

least one hour of physical activity each day.

Through outdoor play our campers will

gain important coordination and skills,

building confidence and abilities they can

use as they grow.

Star Wars Adventures

July 13th – 17th

Campers begin this week as Padawans who are preparing to begin their Jedi training. Throughout the week, these Padawans are challenged through daily Star Wars camp activities along with traditional camp activities.

Science - Ventures

July 6th – 10th

Lets become junior scientists for the summer and embark on a series of science adventures!

Art Explosion

July 20th – 24th

Get your thinking caps on because curiosity and imagination run this week! With sparks of creativity, campers will be designing the unthinkable using different art materials.

Kickin into Sports

August 24th – 27th

Come join in on some athletic fun. Campers will design t-shirts, design flags, and sing songs to promote their favorite countries. They will enjoy relay races and other sports games as we experience the prestige of the Olympics.

The Great Outdoors

August 3rd – 7th

Campers will go on a nature adventure without even leaving ADLC! They will explore habitats of animals and insects. Campers will build a “Wormery”, with live worms! They will observe the worms and discover their habitat.Hooray for the Red, White and Blue

June 29th – July 2nd

Get your red, white, and blue out to help us celebrate and learn all about our great country! Patriotic songs, flags, and firework designs will help us celebrate America’s birthday.

Aloha Summer

June 22nd – 26th

Get ready for an exciting kick-off to summer camp 2020! We will travel to imaginary beaches to build sandcastles, look for seashells, learn about waves, and have fun in the sun!

Robo Fun

August 17th – 21st

This week is full of robo-fun! We will buildmarshmallow robots and use recyclables tobuild magnetic robots.

Holiday Hullabaloo

July 27th – 31st

Every day is a holiday this week, so let’scelebrate! This silly holiday mash-up invitescampers to do the Monster Mash in a Halloween parade, enjoy Christmas in July, and more!

Travel Around the World

August 10th – 14th

Get your passports ready and pack your bags for great adventures as we travel the globe! Whether it’s a sports team, traditional costume, or national flag, we want to represent all the great countries on this earth! Come ready to take a journey around the world!

Trip: Planetarium: Perfect Little PlanetJuly 16th, ThursdayAges: 5 and olderWe will travel the galaxy, walk on the surface of Mars, and dive over the ice cliffs of Miranda in this solar system journey to space!

Trip: Bowlero North BrunswickJune 25th, ThursdayAges: 5 and olderWe will travel to Bowlero in North Brunswick. Campers will enjoy a game of bowling and a pizza lunch (sneakers required).

Visitor: Mad Science: Slime TimeJuly 9th, ThursdayOoze into a gooey hour of sliming around! We will explore, create, and play with the most entertaining and useful molecule known to science! We will create slime using the Mad Science recipe that we can take home!

Visitor: Gone Paintin’: Ceramic PaintingJuly 2nd, TuesdayGone Paintin’ will help our campers create a keepsake ceramic plate.

Visitor: InsectropolisAugust 6th, ThursdayAges: 5 and olderGet ready to get buggy with these special legged visitors! Insectropolis will be teaching us all about insects in their special presentation. We will also get to touch some critters!

Trip: Turtle Back Zoo August 13th, ThursdayAges: 5 and olderWe are off to Turtleback Zoo in West Orange, NJ! Turtleback Zoo is the perfect-sized zoo for children of all ages! Nut-free bag lunch required.

Trip: Urban AirAugust 20th, ThursdayAges: 5 years and olderWe are off to Urban Air in Milltown NJ! Campers will spend a fun day jumping through obstacles having trampoline fun! Pizza lunch and socks included!
