FIRST-TIME VISITORS If you are worshipping with us for the first time, please see a member of the Bridge Ministry in the lobby immediately following Worship for a brief introduction. We love you and welcome to Watts Chapel! WEDNESDAY PRAYER AND FASTING Each Wednesday at Watts, we encourage members to participate in a 24-hour Daniel Fast where we abstain from meats and sweets. This Wednesday, please pray for intentional celebrating of the birth of Jesus Christ. BIBLE STUDY There will be no Bible Study and AWANA the remainder of December. They will resume Tuesday, January 8 and Wednesday, January 9, 2019. CHRISTMAS WORSHIP We will have all three worship celebrations Sunday, December 23. ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE In observance of Christmas, the office will be closed December 21, and will reopen Wednesday, December 26. WATCH NIGHT WORSHIP We will have two New Year’s Eve Worship Celebrations. Join us on Monday, December 31 at 12:00 noon and 7:00 p.m. HOLIDAY MEAL Watts will feed the hungry and those in need during the Christmas season. If you are in need of assistance for Christmas, please sign up by completing the form in the lobbies or register online. Deadline for requests is TODAY. Distribution will be held on Wednesday, Decem-ber 19 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. CHURCH CONFERENCE Our end-of-year church conference will be held TOMORROW, Decem-ber 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. All members are welcome to attend. CUB SCOUTS INTEREST MEETING Parents and families of boys in the first through the fifth grade join us for a meet, greet, and eat at our annual Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts holiday social on Monday December 17, at 6:30 p.m. Boys who register for Cub Scouts on Monday will receive a Pinewood Derby Car Kit for the Pinewood Derby Race to be held on February 2, 2019. CHRISTMAS EXTRAVAGANZA Watts Chapel will host a Christmas Extravaganza on Sunday, Decem-ber 23 at 5:00 p.m. Comedian/radio host, Marcus D. Wiley and gospel recording artist, Marcel Anderson will join the Watts Chapel Music and Liturgical Dance Ministries to celebrate the season and Jesus, who is the REASON. We will be collecting donations of hats, gloves and scarves. Bless someone in need and be blessed with the gifts of laughter, song, and dance. OAK CITY OUTREACH CENTER MISSIONS The Women of Watts Ministry is collecting hats, scarves, and gloves to assist guests at the Oak City Outreach Center on Saturday, Decem-ber 29 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Email wow@wattschapel.org to volunteer.
