Jennifer Clancy

Jennifer Clancy is a highly-experienced technology sales person based in Phoenix, AZ. Before entering into the sales field, she worked as a classroom teacher for eight years. She holds a BA in Childhood Education and an MA in English from Arizona State University.

She and her sister created and developed a popular educational program titled, ALLE Learning™. The program was developed when their mother was living in an assisted living community in the Phoenix area. The program provides lifelong learning classes to those who serve and support senior adult learners who reside in senior adult living communities. Each class is about an interesting and age appropriate topic that encourages interaction and participation among the participants.

In 2016 ALLE Online™ was launched. This educational platform is designed specifically for those who serve and support senior adult learners. This platform provides activity and program staff with comprehensive class materials that include a detailed lesson plan, colorful slide deck, speaker notes, and participant handouts, questions for discussion and references & resources. The activity or program staff become the learning leaders thereby reducing costs associated with bringing in outside lectures or simply having residents watch a DVD.

Jennifer Clancy has purposefully developed the classes in a format that requires a learning leader. These classes are not in a TV, DVD or lecture format. Instead, the classes encourage interaction between the facilitator and the participants.

ALLE Learning™ Lifelong Learning Workshop is available free-of-charge to all activity or program staff members who are interested in implementing a lifelong learning program within their community. The workshop covers topics relevant to working with older adults, for example: becoming a learner-centered presenter, understanding the older adult learner and how to engage hard to reach residents through lifelong learning.

Jennifer Clancy and her staff strive to make the classes as informative and interesting as possible. In each class, they incorporate new ideas and concepts about a subject that encourage residents to participate.
